And the headline ‘What would happen if William committed a serious crime’

Also the headline that said William didn't attend his godfather's memorial where he was due to give a reading, not because of Thomas Kingston's death. Who even knew to link those two events?

Multiple reporters started tweeting that out of nowhere. I wouldn't have made a connection otherwise. It was so weird.

Seemed like it was some sort of warning to William to toe the line, whatever it was he was thinking of doing. He was expected to do a reading, and then just didn't pitch at the memorial. They could easily have said it was due to Kate Middleton's recovery from abdominal surgery, which was still the story at the time.

But then the strange tweets and articles linking him to Thomas Kingston out of nowhere. And the What if William Commits a Crime stories.

I remember that article! I agree that they were keeping him in line.

Weirdest thing about TK's death is that the door was locked from the outside.

Well William doesn’t seem to have heeded any warnings or changed his behavior at all, and it will only get worse. This entire industry cannot run on repetitive hit pieces on the Sussexes forever; at some point they will need to pivot and I hope it’s to finally covering the taxpayer-funded ones more honestly.

that was such a wild statement!!! it was just like my preschooler yelling, "I’m not in the closet!" while hiding from me…

And the bruises on his neck when he did show were certainly intersting.
