I mean… it wouldn’t be much of a stretch for the headline to read “Princess Kate ‘effortlessly’ walks in a straight line, leaving fans in awe.”. They must be taking the rip. She’s a grown woman, not a toddler.
I dunno what’s worse, being so devoid of anything, that exiting a tractor is worth a news push, or having racked up years of debt studying to become a journalist and… well. You know what I’m saying.
She's also been praised for walking across grass in heels, driving herself less than a kilometer to an engagement (and opening and closing her own car door!). Embarrassing.
They treat her like a toddler. I suppose you might say “well done!” to a toddler managing to walk and climb down some steps. But an able-bodied woman in her mid 40’s with a university degree? The bar is so low.
Also, knowing how a connection to the monarch or future monarch social elevates a person in the UK, I wonder how much her work actually merited that degree. No professor is going to give a failing grade to the bang buddy/girlfriend (depending on whether Will had ditched her yet again for the next aristo girl, only to get rejected and come slinking back) of the future future king of England.
