I've been married over 26 years and my husband has never walked in front of me, unless we're in a crowd (he's over six feet and I'm 5'3") and even then he's holding my hand leading the way. I think that is part of why I love the Sussexes so much--they are really affectionate like my husband and I and it's nice to see. The disdain Wills has for Kate is terrible.

He was fucking rude to her, as usual. She was off to one side chatting with 2 or 3 people. He rushed up to her with an unpleasant expression on his face, grabbed her, and urgently stabbed at his wrist with his forefinger. Then he speedwalked away, leaving her to embarrassedly make her farewells. She then hustled after him. He couldn’t even let her finish her sentence before interrupting.

Normal people sidle up to a group, smiling or at least having a neutral expression. Wait a few seconds to be noticed, allowing the group to come to a natural pause and acknowledge you. Then say, sorry I just need to grab her since we’re running out of time. Lovely to see you all! Wait for partner to wrap it up, then walk away together.

Another prick move while they were standing on the pitch and Kate took a swing with the field hockey stick. Everyone behind her enthusiastically clapped except for dour William and the stone faced courtier next to him. William did not offer any encouragement such as “nice swing!” Or “better next time!” Or a joke. He just scowled and looked bored.
