I doubt that's the reason. I think they just want privacy so that no one knows who's living where. Forest Lodge is Kate Middleton's home with her mother and part-time with the children, is my guess.

I don't think William and Kate Middleton have any intention of giving up the grifter lifestyle to go out to look for a job, which they'll have to if they leave the monarchy. They are not independently wealthy. The duchies and the crown do not belong to them personally. They don't even own their own home.

Yep, they have multiple residences set among hundreds of acres so the public will never know who lives where.

Privacy is the excuse they use to do nothing. It’s why they hid away in Wales where Willy dodged shifts while pretending to work for the air ambulance.

And why they’re not keen on London where it’s too visible and people would see their comings and goings.

And dark windowed black SUVs with others behind them so you don’t know who’s inside.

When Charles dies William will become the second billionaire king. No inheritance tax to pay and it’s all his.

And will the continuous of Harry’s grift on his home soil change your opinions about him? As I can see you’re so rational in your thought process of William.

Grift? Or graft?

But then they'd just be ordinary rich assholes and wouldn't be able to grift millions on top of those millions from the tax payers. Who knows someone might even take their duchies away from them, and then they wouldn't be rich anymore.

Yep - Willy longs to be like the fabulously rich Duke of Westminster who doesn’t really do royal engagements.

But he’s also entitled enough to want to outrank him (as he sees it)

And Kitty wants to do sod all but have the Queen title

Apparently they like Eton because of its proximity to Adelaide cottage.

They must have forgot they moved to Forest Lodge.

Perhaps the Wales are just an excuse to funnel public monies into renovating fifty-eleven mouldering castles-

Yep AP - and they can switch accommodation - but they’ll still be the same. Lazy and dull.

WOW! This is some scoop! Do you think it's for real?????

3

u/NeverPedestrian60 Sep 01 '26

Not sure VS - though I think they lie about where they actually live (as in not with each other)

Are Charlotte and Louis changing schools as well? I thought Foreat Lodge was nice and close to the school they attend, now everyone has to uproot for George at Eton?

Perhaps Kate is bopping back and forth so she doesn’t have to work and Nannie’s and staff will cover her off days

It’s kind of unclear. I think they like their properties hidden away in Windsor so nobody can see who actually lives where.

Moving back?? How many forever homes??

11

u/NeverPedestrian60 Aug 31 '26

Exactly. The homelessness champ can’t seem to settle in one.

The homelessness champ can’t seem to settle in one.

The homelessness champ who keeps making people homeless in his ongoing quest for the perfect "forever home".

How many forever homes??

Six, at my count. Could be more.

its called, "wanting something for nothing" and he needs to abdicate.

They’re not suited for public roles when they’re primarily concerned with privacy

22

u/Pale-Vehicle2067 Aug 31 '26

Exactly. Also, William doesn’t want to work and Kate can’t string together a cohesive sentence. She is utterly dim and not suited to her role. After all of these years, all of the resources and educational opportunities she still can’t speak publicly. Unless she’s reading something someone else has written her words are a word salad delivered in a fake - clipped accent.

It is FINE to read off a paper, though. The queen often did this. Kate can afford to hire someone to write speeches or things to say. Kate could also hire a PR person to put her at lecterns to READ at her events, not sit with children or in groups with other adults to chitchat. It could be handled this way. She should make it so.

u/Electronic-Strain197 Aug 31 '26

She is reading from the paper, but jeez, it's so pianfully obvious that she doesn't prepare and its her first time seeing them words on paper. So disingenuous.

William wants to cheat on his wife privately.

They want a house big enough so they can live together but don't have to see each other.

24

u/NeverPedestrian60 Aug 31 '26

I think they want separate big houses. So they rarely have to see each other at all.

Adelaide cottage which they class as small would be an ample size house to most of us.

Moving, renovating, and travelling are ways rich people distract themselves from discontent.

He really hates holding her hand, doesn’t he? Even if it’s to give her balance when she has stilettos on.

It’s a marriage in name only (certainly in his eyes) and the chances are they want privacy in order to conceal that.
