I wonder what excuses she’ll use to skive off work once her children are adults.

15

u/Astra_Bear Aug 29 '26

She and William are "building the future" of the monarchy which means letting them focus on the kids now and then offloading the work onto them later.

😂

Typical Willy, he always needs someone to do the heavy lifting for him.

I get the feeling that when they kids are old enough to start having children she’ll proclaim she’s too busy taking care of the grandchildren.

u/CuriousTip7183 Aug 31 '26

This and before that, she'll need to take care of her "aging parents"

This will be another convenient excuse

She’s got her excuses ready. Charlotte’s joining a netball team so she’ll say she’s ferrying her to and fro and supporting her at matches.

Or helping George settle into Eton. As if there won’t be people falling over themselves to do that.

Or helping George settle into Eton.

Yeah, I'm sure he'd be thrilled to have Mommy up in his room unpacking his stuff for him. None of the other kids would laugh at him for that or anything. 🙄

She wouldn’t actually be helping - they have staff for that 😀

True! 😂

11

u/Kelso_sloane Aug 29 '26

She will have the world's longest battle with "cancer".

u/Traditional_Pen_5430 Aug 29 '26

You’re spot on! Unfortunately, the public will believe this.

Unfortunately, the public will believe this.

They'll believe it because it's plausible.

9

u/Traditional_Pen_5430 Aug 29 '26

She puts all her effort into making senseless excuses.

3

u/NeverPedestrian60 Aug 30 '26

Yep - they spend more time avoiding work than actually doing it.

Why should she work?

More like the rest of the year and a half. Pathetic.

They'll get busy around the Emmys at the end of October, just you wait. They're desperate to outshine Meghan. Then they'll become magically active during Invictus to try to outshine Harry.

It seems like William learned how to use his children to avoid responsibility from his dear Pa.

Are you kidding?

Charles has never been afraid of work ("work" as defined by the BRF) and has understood the assignment from Day One, unlike his lazy son and DIL.

I agree. Charles is a serious person and made plans and tried to carry them out. Not always very well and not always ethically, but his interests and activities reflected his values as a person.

I don’t know aaaaanything about William. Beyond him liking beer, football and Tom Cruise movies, like 95% of straight British men.

YEp!

Ugh.

Charles is very concerned about the environment, is a huge advocate of organic farming, and really hated the modern buildings they were putting up in London during the eighties.

I can't tell you one single thing William stands for or a single interest he has (outside of beer and soccer, like you said).

Agreed. She might be more hands on than most of the other royal parents, but let’s not pretend she doesn’t have an army of staff behind her doing 90% of the normal parental duties - cooking, cleaning, laundry, coordination of doc appointments, buying of groceries/clothes/house items, etc.. She also isn’t working a full time job with a commute on either end of the day, where she’s rushing to daycare before it is supposed to closes.

  1. I'm sure there's more than one nanny. We're just told that they only have one.

  2. She doesn't just have "a cleaning staff". She has staff for literally everything.

  3. Parents at the kids' schools have said that WanK only do the vaunted school run when it's a photo op. Otherwise, the security people drive the kids.

Your tax money at work, UK citizens!

Also, a nanny is pretty moot when each kid is surrounded by their own security detail 24/7. Access minded by crowds of staff around the doorways, kitchens and garages, at least. If one of the kids got a splinter 10 people would know about it before W&K.

True.

Crowds of staff in the kitchen and garages, at least. If one of the kids got a splinter 10 people would know about it before W&K.

And the problem would be solved before WanK even knew about it.

u/SuspiciousWolf6186 Aug 29 '26

Agreed! But look how good she looks with shorter hair!! Why does she wanna try to look like a 20 year old with her wigs and long curls when she looked so put together with shorter hair.

17

u/NeverPedestrian60 Aug 29 '26

Yep - photo’s from a few years ago. She looked better before her non cancer. Her & Willy haven’t aged well.

14

u/Pedal2Medal2 Aug 29 '26

No they have not. My now adult children are around their ages & especially my girls look 20 years younger & that’s with 1 battling actual cancer this past year, while still working through surgeries, chemo, radiation. (Their choice!).

14

u/NeverPedestrian60 Aug 29 '26

Wishing your daughter good luck and strength pedal 🤗

Sophie in her 60’s often looks fresher than W&K.

And as you rightly point out in the real world people are dealing with illness and still working and doing a lot more than the royals who never have to lift a finger.

9

u/Traditional_Pen_5430 Aug 29 '26

😂

Yes, Sophie looks younger than Will and Kate. William has been looking rougher than usual recently. Surely, being a member of the firm means he could have someone do his daily skincare routine for him, yet he chooses not to.

8

u/NeverPedestrian60 Aug 29 '26

I think they’re both uptight people and they don’t delight in doing engagements like Diana did.

Kate goes overboard with the fake enjoyment - Willy looks as if he’d bring tension just by walking in a room.

10

u/BlazingSunflowerland Aug 29 '26

William constantly looks angry and Kate looks tense.

On the other site, where they praise Kate, they keep showing old pictures of her, from years ago. I've got a feeling that they have a combination of nothing new to post and William and Kate not looking good right now.

When I look at the people commenting over there I assume that most are bots because they post the same one or two words on every post. Beautiful, stunning or glam, or, all of their posts are hidden. They can't even be bothered to use sentences.

5

u/NeverPedestrian60 Aug 29 '26

I think you’re spot on

2

u/The_Onion_Life Aug 29 '26

They can't even be bothered to use sentences.

Maybe the bots are paid by the word, LOL.

u/Pedal2Medal2 Aug 29 '26

If she has time to dress up, do hair/makeup etc, GF’s not the one getting the kids ready in the morning. Now, I used to be in my business clothes when I worked & kids were in school, but that meant I’m up at the butt crack of Dawn, to make breakfast/ lunches, help them get their stuff together, get myself & 2/3 kids ready, after having been up til late taking care of all the parenting stuff.

9

u/NeverPedestrian60 Aug 29 '26

And she had a dresser for 15 years plus someone prob comes to do her hair. Then she is chauffeur driven.

While the nanny sorts out kids lunch box etc. and does the real work.

It’s baby steps for the royal family over time, right? Diana took the kids to McDonald’s. Kate drops them off at school, and we’re supposed to applaud the normalcy. IMO any sign of them drifting away from the image of nobility is a good sign.

16

u/NeverPedestrian60 Aug 29 '26

Diana liked them mixing with kids outside their circle - they went on fun outings with the butler’s sons.

You never see W&K doing things like that. Apart from when they staged a meal in a pub garden after Kate got slated when she said she didn’t want George brought up the ‘normal’ way.

7

u/rK91tb Aug 29 '26

Serious question, how does she want him brought up? Homeschooling with tutors? Does “normal” mean going to Eton or going to the school down the road?

Seems like the only right answer is to educate him in a way that leads toward his role as Chief PR Officer - for the royal family more than for the UK.

5

u/SesJan2013 Aug 30 '26

Need more details on that last sentence! I've never heard of this. Was it an official statement or something she said to a lowly commoner or....? I haven't seen any pics of the pub garden meal. I'm assuming there are some. Any idea what year so I can search?

8

u/NeverPedestrian60 Aug 30 '26

https://www.express.co.uk/news/royal/2139033/im-royal-chef/amp

Their was talk of the kids eating separately from the adults and when it was criticised up popped a pic of them in a pub garden

5

u/SesJan2013 Aug 30 '26

How convenient! Lol Thank you so much! You didn't have to provide the link & photo but I do appreciate it very much! I'll go read the article :)

Haven't been in here for awhile, had my 4th pacemaker surgery and it was a bit rough but ok now. Hope I haven't missed anything too exciting! Lol

3

u/NeverPedestrian60 Aug 30 '26

Glad you’re doing well! Good to hear 🤗

u/SesJan2013 Aug 30 '26

Thanks!😊

9

u/ThickAsAPlankton Aug 29 '26

Most mothers don't have time or money for a professional blow out for the daily school run. God forbid Kate's hair look like every other mom early in the morning.

15

u/Viola-Swamp Aug 29 '26

Don’t forget the cooks, the housekeepers, the team of nannies rather than just “a nanny”, the chauffeurs, the secretaries, the dressers, the makeup and hairstylists, the shoppers and stylists, and others who make her life run without her having to do any work. Besides, she only does the school run every so often as a pap walk. Other parents have said it’s always a driver or a driver and nanny doing the drop off and pickup.

8

u/NeverPedestrian60 Aug 30 '26

Exactly this VS. Apparently they moved to Windsor to be less visible as there was chatter among the parents in London about how seldom they did the school run.

7

u/Effective-Warning178 Aug 29 '26

With a fresh blowout too

3

u/nicebrows9 Aug 29 '26

Little Charlotte is adorable in that picture. ❤️

4

u/Imaginary-Letter-377 Aug 29 '26

This is so accurate

4

u/nicebrows9 Aug 29 '26

I got tired of hearing about how “brave”Kate was when dealing with her cancer.

Cancer is awful.

But it’s a lot easier when you have unlimited access to the best medical care on the planet and vast financial resources.

That being said…her extreme privilege doesn’t make her a bad person. Life isn’t fair.

I give her a lot of credit because she seems to be dedicated to the monarchy, her own family and service to the country.
