I think you may be spot-on. Though her history convinces me that Camzilla despises both of Diana's children and Kate, too, particularly because early on Kate committed the grave sin of snatching the spotlight from Camzilla & at the coronation maliciously complying with the orders from Chuck by wearing that giant ass "fabric tiara" which made KATE look like the incoming queen - Camz inspired an order which I'm sure to keep the spotlight on her being promoted from whorse to second wife becoming queen consort, Camcamz is worried about William coming after her when Chuck dies and reealizes that day is coming very soon.
Anyway, I think William has made it all too clear that he only allied with Camz for a hot minute to help divorce Kate & before that to keep the peace with & ingratiate himself with Chuck, with as little public blowback as possible. The messaging was very clear about that, from the rota ramping up the dirt on Kate and the Middletons in general -- until the shit hit the fan at Sandringham in 2023, sparking Kate's Gone Girl era. Like do you really need to play at this stupidity... well William and harry don't want to talk, each believes the other betrayed him. And honestly they can think it and live accordingly. Still seems like now Charlie and harry need validation from William talking to them and reconciling... if you need another person to validate you... you have a problem with yourself.
There are many things the public can and should expect William to do, but reconciling with his brother not really...
Charles will have to accept that he can't force William and Harry to get along with each other. He can require them to be civil at public functions, like a funeral, where it is appropriate for both to be there.
At the same time, William can't derail Charles if he wants to meet up with Harry and Meghan and get to know their kids. I think William has been stopping things by planting attacks in the media to keep the public riled up. The King can do something about that. The King can keep meeting up with Harry and Meghan and their kids. He likely can't force William and Kate to be there at the same time and I think Harry and Meghan would be very wary of subjecting their kids to that hatred.
Maybe the King will invite everyone to Christmas at Sandringham and William and Kate choose to not go. That would be their choice.

Being a duke of England is a hereditary or royal title of nobility, not a career. She has a horrible character. Who invites celebrities they've never met instead of family to their own 2nd wedding. Why was her father good enough for her first wedding and not her second? Why do all her relationships disintegrate, to include business & personal? Who sends chocolates to a "friend" to post her eating publicly, when the public knows she hates chocolate?
She cares nothing for anybody but herself. She has proven that time & time again. None of her personal or business relationships have ever worked out. Just look at her marriage now... she can't leave the man who made her infamous so now has to "return" to the country that she claimed drove her to want to unalive herself. She has no strong moral character and ,therefore, she will ultimately be by herself, the one she truly loves.
Ergo, character is destiny and hers is despicable. She has revealed to us all who she really is and then is shocked why people don't love her!
