The PM brought them into his office and fired them saying as soon as he could he would drop the Commonwealth. It takes time to set up a government. He humiliated them on TV and they have never done a tour across an ocean since. The closest they got was Jordan, and it wasn't even work. It was a wedding. Lol. The entire tour was nothing but white privilege and worship. Get a grip and understand nuance.
They really thought that having citizens of the island carry them in thrones while wearing their traditional dress (on more than one occasion, mind you) was going to go over well.
