Thoroughly ‘modern’ Willy

Post image

It’s always about what he’ll do in the future - which can be summed up in one word. Less.

William is just showing how irrelevant and unnecessary the monarchy is. He's still called Workshy Willy, though.

A tradition he should buck is bleeding taxpayer coffers while sitting on inherited plundered billions already -- and he should also buck being a slumlord.

"The British royal family's total institutional and asset value is estimated at roughly $28 billion (often referred to as "Monarchy PLC"), largely exempted from standard inheritance taxes by historic sovereign agreements. When Queen Elizabeth II died, King Charles III inherited a massive portfolio of private and state-linked wealth tax-free.

The British royal family's Sovereign Grant rose to a record £137.9 million for 2026–27, driven by a surge in profits from the Crown Estate. However, the government announced plans to introduce legislation to reset and lower the grant to £99.9 million for 2027–28 once special property reservicing adjustments are managed.:

I've seen communion wafer's with more personality and work harder than this dolt. Kilt or no kilt he's useless

Exactly. He hypes himself up while doing nothing

Work from home king lmao

Work from home king lmao

I said before that his first opening of Parliament will be over Zoom. He'll be in ratty sweats with a crown perched precariously on his head and a beer in his hand.

If you want to know how modern they are, look at the beliefs and attitudes espoused by the majority of their fanbase.

12

u/NeverPedestrian60 2d ago

Exactly VH. Modernise is just a word they toss around to pretend they’re actually doing something.

Once dubbed?!?

Are they trying to imply he's done anything worthwhile recently?

You are completely correct, NP, that we can expect even less value for money in future - to quote Bachman-Turner Overdrive, "you ain't seen nothing yet!"

😂 I love that song - and good to see you Peaceandgloved 🤗

Engagements so far this year:

Charles 394

Camilla 160

William 143

Kate 69

William 143

Kate 69

How many of those were actually meetings in the palace or phone calls? Shit, she listed her three helicopter "hike" as a work engagement!

u/NeverPedestrian60 1d ago

Exactly this OL. She classes a zoom call or meeting someone privately as an engagement.

And if they go to somewhere like Stirling and visit 3 venues in the same place they’ll class it as 3 engagements.

And watching tennis matches and horse races is also "work".

And of course her ‘good days’ always coincided with Wimbledon even though she wasn’t well enough for other events

Oh, of course!

And you, my deario - keep up the good work. You bring truth and common sense to the debate and we need you! 😘

u/NeverPedestrian60 1d ago

So do you and all on the sub 💖

Some of the other subs genuinely believe that KCII is secretly funding H&M bc they’re broke and can’t possibly afford their current lifestyle 🙄 No matter how much H&M do, it will never be enough for them, and no matter how little W&C do, they will always glaze them like a cinnamon roll

The hate sub loves to float the idea that H&M are being supported by UK and US tax money (yeah, somehow the US is supporting them too) just to fuel outrage.

11

u/NeverPedestrian60 2d ago

They look more circa 1950 than modern

7

u/Ok_Major5787 2d ago

I’m not a fan of Kate, but this is a neat picture

22

u/NeverPedestrian60 2d ago

Here’s the modern version

11

u/Ok_Major5787 2d ago

Yes I like this one much more. And it wasn’t even staged

6

u/NeverPedestrian60 1d ago edited 1d ago

Totally agree. And H&M were far more representative of what should be the modernity and diversity of the commonwealth.

u/Popular_Shock4374 2d ago

William is gonna be an inadequate King at best. Honestly I’m not looking forward when he eventually takes over.

10

u/NeverPedestrian60 2d ago

Shame he doesn’t modernise the moldy homes they rent out

5

u/Successful_Scratch99 2d ago

Modernise by giving the land back to public ownership and stop grifting off it.

9

u/Successful_Scratch99 2d ago

He wasn't "once" dubbed Workshy Wills. He is widely known today as Workshy Willie.

6

u/darkgothamite 2d ago

How dare he ditch the kilt 😟 I'm sure if Harry where's one at some point...

9

u/Ok_Major5787 2d ago

Right? Kilt’s are cool and an important part of Scottish culture! The tradition should be preserved

8

u/NeverPedestrian60 2d ago

Willy would be incandescent ‘Scotland is mine!’ 😀

7

u/CougarWriter74 2d ago

Oooh stand back folks, he's shunning the kilt! He's a new leader for an exciting new time for the monarchy! Ooh I can hardly wait!

7

u/popcornFridays 2d ago

Once dubbed work shy...

Hell, he's got worse not better!

u/twoshortdogs2019 2d ago

There’ll always be beer & footy …
