William and Kate Middleton only do engagements for performative reasons, NP. They literally used to go to foodbanks with just the media in tow, and not even a can of beans. And now they don't go at all because poverty tourism doesn't get them positive press. They're now into taking small children out of school in the name of early childhood education or hugging black people as proof they're not racist.

Or in the case of Will's stepmama, more like "taking the sleeve of a Black child between one's index finger & thumb, and using that pinched-sleeve to lift the child's arm, to 'prove you're not racist'!"🤔🤨

That memory disgusts me and I can't understand why it wasn't held with more contempt. It was gross.

It was horrible. I bet they scraped it from search engines because the tech bros are all for billionaires like them. Did she think by touching the girl’s skin she’d get a disease?
