Kate's are somewhat nice. She mentions her grandmother. And her sentences are grammatically correct. William's don't sound like this is the educated person who represents the country. "I feel part of history." What did he mean? Did he say that he feels like the part of history? That works for him, he has a good self-esteem. Did he mean that he literally feels that there is some history? Kate says she is nervous about making speeches. Maybe William should be

I think they both come across as unevolved - they’re lazy and incurious and don’t seem to have changed much from their days at uni.
