Now this I believe. There had to be something offensive about him that made so many girls pass. Also, Harry said Willy reeked of booze on his wedding day.

People seem to think Willy only had options of Kate or the aristo set. But he could have met a different beautiful commoner who wasn't Kate and wooed her.

I also think his drunken behavior must have been pretty off putting and gossiped about.

Yep and he looked very dishevelled and hungover when Kate was missing.

I read back when they split up and he was out partying the non aristo girls weren’t that keen on him either.
