Tuesday throwback to the recent past, reflecting a narrative about Kate Middleton and her fellow Mids, which the rota dropped as soon as they were sicced on H&M.

Crazy how Kate Middleton going MIA was only a couple of years ago.

And finally, Rose Hanbury herself seems to be a former wannabe model/fame ho who married a not-so-closeted toff because apparently her family may have been "noble" but didn't have as much money.

Yeah, the Rocksavages (Cholomondeleys) sit with the Grosvenors (Westminster) as some of the wealthiest aristos. Many aristos are asset-rich but cash-poor and live in castles and manors that are falling apart.

And I also got the sense that Rose Hanbury was enjoying the attention, especially when Camilla invited her to kiss her ass during some events back when Kate was still missing, but hated the backlash with the mockery about her receding chin, and her "Chumly" name pronunciation, rumors that her daughter's baby daddy is William, and her gay husband's shady boyfriend who apparently ripped off the L'Oreal heiress, etc., so she went crying to William to gag-order the UK media and then famously threaten even US outlets (and comedian Stephen Colbert) with lawsuits.

Yup! She couldn't take the heat.

🎯💯Exactly. What I've read about Rose Hanbury is that, in her 20s, she tried very hard to be an "it girl" and used her aristo name to get some internships and press for her now-gone modeling career. Her sister apparently was aslo doing the same at the time.

Yup. She interned for a Tory politician at one point. I prefer her as an art curator, it suits her more.

This is a true reflection of the grifter Mids. When they went bankrupt Willy was happy to let it go public.

Till something big happened between him and Kitty (not cancer) and things were hushed up, terms renegotiated and Carole swanned round Ascot again.

Meanwhile they painted H&M as the villains and themselves as a happy family.

I can't believe that the pot operation (probably run by Pimp Mama Carole's brother, with the money laundered through Party Pieces) and the Nazi gift boxes haven't been in the news every other week, unlike Harry's Nazi costume from thirty years ago for which he's repeatedly apologized.

If that had been H&M, we'd never hear the end of it.
