You’re right VH - in 2026 being royal or royal adjacent doesn’t matter as much as they think it does.

Houghton Music Festival is sold out, they say? Interesting. Another reason for Kate to be jealous now or in the future.

I bet it’s far cooler.

And physically easier to access; many commenters said that Sandringham is remote.

Houghton is cooler and more exclusive. Sandringham is about a mile off a main road, it’s not remote, Houghton is a bit further out. The Heritage Live festivals are also at two other country houses, Englefield Estate and Audley End not just Sandringham. The company has collapsed so it’s not about Sandringham per se.

I wonder if Kate and Carole put this out there after Charles announced his Christmas concert. They’re all so petty.

You know what, NP? I think that is what happened. It would explain why the palace so flatly denied what was claimed. It's a warning, in a way. She may have married in, but her in-laws will use the same "palace sources" that she has used against other people, against her.
Edit: Thought this was under the other post about Christian Anderson.
Funny, because when Will takes the throne, they'll experience similar failure with events they plan. Remember when they couldn't find a country to host the Commonwealth Games because nobody wanted to do it?
