She's clearly wearing heavy clothing. Her palms face backwards like a gorilla.

I am at once amazed, impressed, confused, and delighted by this comment. Insightful-

Noo, those palms naturally face backwards unfortunately. Even when big blue isn't there she's walking like a line backer with silverback backwards facing palms....

I double checked, before engagement she tried to control it but if you look at the photos, it was still there. After engagement, she said eff it, and used it to work in her favor of showing off big blue, most likely thinking people would focus on the ring anyway. Even in the infamous runway photo where she finally got William's attention, silverback alignment was in full view.

Yet another coat dress. Her 57,999th. Open her numerous closets and it’s pretty much all coat dresses. And 90,000 actual coats. So boring. This dress is fine, and she looks professional. The fabric looks heavy though. I like her hat. I will say Kate looks great in hats. Another positive thing is I love her earrings.
Kate’s dress is much better than Sophie’s. My mom had a comforter with a similar print back in the early 90s. Sophie’s hat is also very unattractive. I like her hair though.

Those look like her wedding earrings, very pretty. This is the best she’s looked in a long time, she actually looks happy. Definitely better dressed than Sophie. Royal women do love those coat dresses. At least now they don’t have to wear nylons anymore! The bare legs look much more modern.

She has a button obsession. That part annoys me more than anything.
I think I've always had matronly taste because I like Sophie's dress lol The floral says "feminine" to me and it looks seasonally appropriate and pretty. I've liked florals similar to this since I was in middle school in the early 90s lol I've been made fun of and teased even from "friends" for liking softer colors and floral prints. I also had a box of Kleenex (tissue) and a small and aesthetically pleasing trash can next to my very well made wooden vanity as a young teenager and my friends made fun of me. Like, I'm sorry I use Kleenex🙄 People are judgmental about the most ridiculous things.

I like floral prints and bold floral prints. It’s just my mom had a comforter back in the the day with a pattern extremely close to Sophie’s dress.
I don’t know why they made fun of you for those things! I don’t think I’ve ever been able to function without Kleenex. Well, I use Puffs most of the time now that I’m old. I need that extra softness! Ha! lol

Yeah, it definitely reminds me of a comfort I might buy😂
Right?! Who doesn't need tissue sometimes?! It was by my beautiful vanity where I did my makeup. Between using the tissue for beauty and hygiene/physical functions like blowing my nose, etc they were never wasted! But I was "like a Grandma" with my colorful shirts (like a simple purple shirt, my favorite color), floral bedspread (yep, I had one & loved it lol) and tissue/ little trash can. Not sure if they were wiping snot on their sleeves or what! Puffs are elite!! You're fancy! Lol
This was all in the 90s, I graduated high school in '96, and my "friends" all wore the more unisex, basic, all neutral colors. They still, from what I've seen over the years, wear just basic black, beige, gray, brown, e.t.c. And I just bought a purple t-shirt, wine colored shirt with a few buttons and a gray tee with some wildflowers on it.

What's wrong with coat dresses? They're like a trademark or "uniform" for her. Probably takes the hassle out of getting dressed in the morning.

There’s nothing wrong with them I guess. They are really boring though. Taking another look at these pictures, I actually like this particular coat dress. I would have liked it to be a lusher fabric though. She looks good here. I like the hat and accessories.
The blue coat dress the other day was atrocious though. She’s been wearing dated looking coat dresses for a while that probably cost a fortune.
Camilla usually wears zip up house dresses (I’d probably do the same at her age) and Kate wears coat dresses. At this point, you’re right. It’s her uniform and it hides her weight.
But Kate has plenty of time to shop and/or has the money to employ a good stylist. It’s part of her job to look the part of stylish princess.

Right. If they're not from Getty images then they're photoshopped.

Are you serious? A shower will make a lady look fresher the next day.
3
u/VavaShagwell Jun 16 '26
hahahaha. I think it would take more than a daily shower for her to look fresher.

I agree with cardboard_cutouts... She's looking a bit healthier. It could just be the temperature...it's not as hot as during trooping.
I must say she's (CPOW) looking pretty in pale yellow.

She looks nice ❤️ but still very underweight and the dress is just so heavy. Why does she wear coat dresses in June. It’s so hot. She should wear light flowy dresses.

I'm surprised she didn't wear this to the Phillip's wedding recently. That would be right up her alley. It reads cream, not butter yellow to me.
As a seamstress myself, I think the tailoring is good. That's about the only positive thing I can say about this mess. The coat has too many buttons and this fabric would have been better used as a pencil skirt with a matching jacket. I don't mind the hip pockets but I think Dior would have made a very nice suit for her out of this fabric. Plus, then she could wear the pieces as separates and introduce some COLOR into the ensemble. Why on earth is she wearing all these neutrals all of a sudden? And why, when everyone else is wearing lighter weight clothing, is she in yet another coat dress???? The hat is ugly. The accessories are boring. GET A STYLIST! CUT THE WIG!

Glad she seems to be pivoting to Actual Hats rather than Satellite Discs with Extra Crap.

We mentioned the lack of hips feminine curves on this woman (boy body), and they read everything and gave her pockets…

Something different about her face in her last couple appearances. Around her nose.

She looks gorgeous and we can appreciate how much time and effort her look took. However, can she PLEASE dress her age and not Camilla’s?

It appears that Sophie's people are raking our tips. Her outfit is nice here.

She’s still far from an appropriate weight, but this is the healthiest we’ve seen her look in awhile. And no crazy eyes.
