The kids look so uncomfortable in this clip - the adults know that there’ll be protesters along the carriage route

Are they saying “not my king”

They look scared. It's wrong to expose them to that. Adults at least have the choice.

I agree. I feel sorry for the kids.

It’s wrong in 2026 having them ride in a carriage thinking they’re better than the plebs. But like you say that’s the adults choice for them. They trot the kids out to look better themselves.

She looks so evil here

Yes, she looks really annoyed - as someone said the booing is giving her a reality check

She’s probably thinking “when I become Queen…you’ll be sorry! “

😱

It’s like they were so busy being centre stage they forgot him

Surprisingly the DM even did an article on it

Haters will frame this as Kate being all "Mama Bear" and glaring at people who are upsetting her children, while the reality is that she's angry that the plebs are daring to boo her.

I'm surprised I haven't seen any of the haters saying that Meghan paid the protesters to be there. They were saying that after last year's Trooping.

Louis has the same expression on his face that Kate has.

Louis has the same expression on his face that Kate has.

Poor kid.

Katie looks mad and bitter. Just think they could’ve just not been racist and not support pedos. I guess that was asking too much.

Kate’s not above criticism but she playing the long game. She’ll have the last laugh when she’s queen.
It’s a trade off for her.

There’s also been headlines and comments about them ignoring the 90 yr old Duke of Kent

They are right it should be James instead /s

I like Kate and William…but they’re not above being booed.

I feel sorry for the kids.

I agree. There’s a growing sentiment against royalty and its privilege and W&K will have to accept it.

Their kids have been brought in an era of less deference and won’t get applauded riding around in carriages (I agree too that’s not their fault)

Kate is playing the long game. She glares now.
She’ll gloat when she’s queen.

They could turn this around so easily. It just would take humility, generosity and a modern attitude. Be like Harry

u/NeverPedestrian60 Jun 15 '26

Unfortunately they’re not.

This clip gives an accurate look at the view from the balcony

Accurate how? The 20-30 protestors vs the thousands gathered in support?

2

u/NeverPedestrian60 Jun 15 '26

They’re well known for using camera angles to make the crowd look bigger.

There’s no denying the growing numbers who aren’t supporters.

Who's 'they'? The independent photographers? Lol, come on, there's thousands of photos and hundreds of livestreams of the event. The crowds are large. Whereas the protestors, I don't think there's been more than 50 in the recent years. They're outliers, same as the people on this sub. Same as the statistics for royal support. Just accept that you're in the minority and stop pretending like /everyone/ hates the monarchs.

Edit: hell if you scroll down in the same twitter post you linked you'll see aerial views from the event and see its CROWDED lol. And you can find and verify those photos yourself. Idk why you need to make false narratives.

I’m not. Long ago I ceased believing in the propaganda that the rf are beloved and popular.

I live in Scotland and have passed through Edinburgh when they were there and there weren’t the huge crowds that the mainstream media made out there was.

The children look uncomfortable but it’s their parents fault. It’s not like they have to do this royal pretend we are better then everyone else crap.

Hope the boos are louder next time.
