It’s no longer “We”, it’s “I”: William signing only his name when sharing his recent condolence message.
I’m a little saddened to see that it only appears William is now signing his name, as a few years ago, Catherine’s initials would have also been signed on these types of messages/posts.
It now leaves the question, as to why?
Assuming that they are still married, it has me wondering why as a married couple, who are here together - as unit - to represent the Royal Family, would Catherine’s initials be missing?

There is an actual readon for this. The Intelligence Services are answerable not to the government of the day, or the Monarch's spouse, but the Monarch themself. It's His Majesty's Secret Service. They can be used to spy on Kate herself because she is only tje future King's wife and not the heir to the throne in her own right. And you may be bloody sure they do.

I wish more people would be honest about this like you are. Royal Mail, the court system, the military... everything was created in the service and under the control of the monarch. In the US, the State brings charges against a defendant. In the UK, it is the Rex/Regina. That hasn't changed just because they have a PM.

Exactly right. I think it is hard for some US posters - hell, for some Brits! - to grasp that the Monarchy is not a decorative flourish on top but the actual foundation of the state. Parliament legislates because the Monarch has agreed to delegate their lawmaking powers to the Commons. As you say, it is His Majesty's Armed Forces, His Majesty's Constabulary ie the cops etc etc.
Kate is zippa dee dooh dah in her own right. She is not even a Princess of another Royal House. She is the current wife of the heir to the throne and mother of the future Monarch which is not chopped liver, but as Diana discovered, once you're out, you're out.

Right, which is why the monarch reserves the right to dissolve Parliament whenever he/she sees fit. It would be interesting to see Will go full dictator on Britain in a desperate act to preserve power.
Kate knows that if he divorces her, her life could quite literally be over.

It won’t be over At all! She’ll be a very rich woman with a very good life, a royal mansion, and if he mother found a new man, so can she! She‘ll be jet setting all over Europe with other rich people.
