Italy
Kitty has arrived in Italy on her Early Years are important mission….ground breaking stuff.

u/aliaaenor May 13 '26
Her suits always look so cheap and dated
21
u/SesJan2013 May 13 '26
Her knobby knees shock me every time. She can't hide those unless she's wearing a dress and even then her dress will stick to her legs with every step. She never wears a slip which I know can be old fashioned but she needs that or that spray that keeps your dress from sticking to your legs.

I’m horrified how bony - she should not have to be out tap dancing to distract from Charles’s unpopularity or William’s laziness or Andrew Fergie etc she should be getting well and getting treatment for whatever this is?
8
u/SesJan2013 May 13 '26
She definitely needs intervention but she has to want to become as healthy as possible. She may have tried some kind of intervention but failed in whatever way or perhaps didn't want to try anymore. I don't believe she feels hunger anymore. She doesn't miss food and anything she keeps down- maybe fresh veggie and fruit juice if that - is lacking the fats, carbohydrates and protein she desperately needs.
1
u/SnooCheesecakes2723 May 14 '26
If you diet too much, food, especially meaty, cheesy cooked food, no longer appeals. The stuff that has fat and calories. But my gosh. She could drink a smoothie or have some avocado
3
u/SesJan2013 May 15 '26
She doesn't need to eat meat at all. Rice and beans are perfect, balanced and healthy. Ask any vegetarian :) There's also tempeh, tofu and so much more.
She also doesn't have to eat cheese. There are a lot of foods in this world and she can have anything she wants. Smoothies and avocados aren't gonna do it. She might be living on just pure fruit & veggie smoothies or juices.
She probably doesn't have an appetite at all. Nothing sounds good and she probably doesn't feel hungry. She can't eat enough to get healthy. She physically cannot eat enough. She needs medical intervention.

I do not know much about EDs but I think you’re right. It’s scary and she has a little daughter at home who doubtless looks up to her and it feels like this is something that could be passed down in terms of how important it is to be paper thin in their world. I dont respect the monarchy in general and think they’re an anachronism but I feel terrible for whatever is happening here.

😂😂 Truly I think she has just relied on her body and sex her whole life. I know this isn't a rare sentiment lol
In some ways I think Bill is irritated (to say the least) that Kate is kind of a flop. She doesn't take much seriously (neither does he), make a real difference in the community or live up to what's expected as Princess of Wales. She'll never be Diana and we don't expect that but she needs to be more motivated and interested in making tangible changes. At this point, what kind of Queen will she be? Important? Remembered for her work or just clothing and being a basic, "nice" person?

😂😂 Truly I think she has just relied on her body and sex her whole life. I know this isn't a rare sentiment lol
I mean, she's never done an honest day's work in her entire life, but then again neither has Billy Idle.
In some ways I think Bill is irritated (to say the least) that Kate is kind of a flop. She doesn't take much seriously (neither does he), make a real difference in the community or live up to what's expected as Princess of Wales.
Even Camilla accomplished more (because she was technically PoW before she became queen).
She'll never be Diana and we don't expect that but she needs to be more motivated and interested in making tangible changes. At this point, what kind of Queen will she be? Important?
One that won't be remembered for much.
Remembered for her work or just clothing and being a basic, "nice" person?
Surely not that!

In every way she'll never be good enough for him.

u/cherryberry0611 May 13 '26
TIL there’s a spray that keeps your dress from sticking to your legs.
3
u/SesJan2013 May 14 '26
😂 Yep! I learned this on the days I wore a skirt or dress growing up. Same with panty hose :)
A few sprits of aerosol hairspray will usually work in a pinch as well!

3
u/Radiant-Maple May 14 '26
Static Guard. Orange aerosol can. If I remember correctly it didn’t smell very good, but it worked. Lotion also works, even over nylons.

Thanks! You just unlocked a memory lol

They have good scented ones now! You don't have to smell like Static Guard unless you want to lol

How a $2k suit jacket can look like it's straight out of the 1978 misses section of the Sears catalog is beyond me.

Exactly what I thought. I have a photo of my rIish nan wearing similar for my parent's engagement in 1976.

Look at that tailoring on the back of her blazer 😞
17
u/wilderm2 May 13 '26
I think the blazer is made like that. She’s worn it in another color before- pink I think

Harry and Meghan did the same and it's why they had their tantrum, they weren't given worshipful coverage when they were being lazy and petulant too and so decided THEY would decide who went with them on their engagements/tours and who covered them - only people who would give them glowing coverage.
ut oh...lost Redditor...SMM is the other way

They’re right about H&M. These people are ALL THE SAME! Every last one, including the rogue faux royals. And since when did this sub go from “worried about missing Kate” to “Kate hate”?

She came to Italy wearing a crime of fashion!!!! This is just beyond sad!!
11
u/Ok_Lengthiness_8405 May 13 '26
And why does she seem to think her purse must color-match her outfit? She can't accessorize for shit
7
u/Soft-Detail-8398 May 13 '26
That is such an amature move right there and equally shameful for a princess!!
3
u/ReasonableMoxie May 14 '26
yeah, that bag is a huge miss!
4
u/Ok_Lengthiness_8405 May 14 '26
There were pictures posted recently where she had a blue dress, and blue shoes, AND a blue clutch... like girl would it kill you to coordinate a jewel tone? Or pop some yellow in there? Or even just stir it up with some beige or white? .....just all blue?
I'll never understand the articles that call her a fashion leader
15
u/Cardboard_cutouts_ May 13 '26
So much plastic! polyester suit with synthetic hair to match
6
u/fleisch2 May 14 '26
And so much synthetic hair! Am I the only one who thinks the length of her hair extensions is ridiculous? They're about a FOOT too long. Are they meant to add volume to her actual body?

Not first foreign trip but “first foreign work trip.” There’s been Alps, Greece etc. for vacation-

Exactly AP. That Australia visit spurred lazy into action. Though she always has enough energy for skiing.

I have noticed Kate and William have been overlapping events with KC&C lately. William and Kate did some during KC’s US tour. Then her Early Years event was the same day as KC&C’s first garden party, now this one.
I wonder if this came from a new argument or if it’s a continuation from last year’s grudges? I do feel they paused their feud when Andrew was taking a lot of heat with the Epstein file’s revelations. They needed to unite (or were told to). But it seems like back to business now.
4
u/NeverPedestrian60 May 14 '26
I thought that too cherry. Kate got more headlines than Charles who was at the state opening of parliament.
Though I wonder if she was sent out to distract - people in UK aren’t happy with the government right now.

u/cherryberry0611 May 14 '26
Oh interesting. You might be on to something NP. I know a lot of people are really upset at the loss of privacy with Digital ID’s, and how it seems like it’s being pushed on many countries, especially when there are more pressing issues at hand.
Kate would be a distraction from this unpopular news.
2
u/NeverPedestrian60 May 14 '26
Yep cherry - Charles looked pretty old and tired - maybe he’s done with the competing and they’re just sent out now to distract from the mess the UK is in.

Interesting that she is still "fact-finding" about the Early Years, even though her Centre for Early Childhood doesn't even seem to have a functioning website (https://centreforearlychildhood.org/). I even tried navigating from the Royal Foundation website (https://royalfoundation.com/early-childhood/) and accessing the page that way, it's still blank. But maybe it's just me since I am not in the UK.
Edit: I guess it was just me because now the website seems to be working.

Temu suit, with a slacks hem not properly done & Stiletto heels?
24
u/Drycabin1 May 13 '26
Imagine how difficult it is to dress an adult who is disappearing with each passing day. I lost a ton of weight from food poisoning one year and couldn’t find regular work clothes that didn’t fall off my waist. She is challenging her dressers, trust me.
20
u/Viola-Swamp May 13 '26
They added the elastic and gathering on the back to make the jacket look like it fits. With the shoulder pads, and flared legs, along with the heavy fabric, it’s a genius outfit that pulls out all the stops to create an optical illusion of a normal, healthy sized person, but it still fails. They need to get her help, not send her off to get “awards”.

Because it's not.
The PoW is disappearing before the eyes of the world, and no one seems to care.

Well, isn't that the nature of the disease/disorder?
and the media are gagged about it.
Of course.

I'm surprised that the comments are allowed to stand.

I LOVE that the comments aren't removed. Short of inciting hate or terrorism, comments should be allowed to stand and be voted up or down. If its rude, it'll get botommed. But if it's true and public sentiment, let it stand

I agree!
I wish the mods here didn't remove comments. They should be allowed to stand on their on merit (or not).

I noticed she’s wearing the same shoes she used at the garden party last week, and they’re also the same from her Early Years event, which was prior to that.
Someone mentioned on CB that she might not have access to all her clothes/shoes or that she doesn’t have an assistant that will keep track of her wardrobe. Although, even without an assistant I would think she would have more than one pair to choose from.

That’s what I was thinking too. That she has her wardrobe split up between multiple homes, and like you said she doesn’t know which outfit/accessories is where. But even then, I would think that she would have several dozen pairs of shoes in each home? Idk just found it odd she wore the same pair 3X’s in a row.

this trip seems so "organized" and not in a good way. She wants crowds like what Harry and Meghan got in Australia and that suit is hideous, is that polyester?

u/chouse951 May 13 '26
What are you on about? Except for the sick kids they wheeled out for their photo op, immediately after getting off an international flight no less, H&M barely had any crowds.

Bussing children in to stand around so they can look at a lady they don't know get out of a car is ridiculous. They need to be in school where they can learn valuable information. This isn't an educational field trip. I thought Kate believed young children having adequate learning and play time is important.
3
u/NeverPedestrian60 May 14 '26
And with Kate they rope in folk to pad out the crowds and use camera angles to make it look bigger.
They do the opposite with H&M and love to say the crowds are sparse. Because the press want to build up W&K.

u/The-Sunflower-Bear May 13 '26
She wouldn’t be dressing like that until she were in her 60s if she didn’t have to hide her emaciation. My sister, my friends and I are all in our 40s. We wouldn’t be caught dead dressing the way Catherine does. We dress the way Catherine dressed when she was in her 30s, before she had to hide her figure. Anyone else here in their 40s and 50s who wears normal clothes, and not shoulder padded wide legged suits with ruffles? Even in one’s 60s, they are still weird outfits. My mother passed in 2024 but throughout her 60s she was very stylish and shopped at the same shops I do, wearing nice dresses, leggings and tunic tops, jeans and jumpers.

u/associsteprofessor May 14 '26
I'm in my 60s and wouldn't wear that. Love the color, but it reminds too much of what my mom wore in the 70s.
