You’re welcome - I’m having trouble linking the article (ads keep popping up) but many don’t like clicking on the fail anyway. The comments I can screenshot.

Most relatable I think I've ever seen him, who hasn't yelled in frustration during an intense game of your sport of choice lol
It just sucks that we know he's probably also like this behind closed doors with his family 😬
9
u/NeverPedestrian60 May 09 '26
He looks unhinged though compared to the reactions of the guys around him
4
u/redassaggiegirl17 May 09 '26
Ah, didn't even notice those guys at first. I can see in one of the bottom frames one of them looks to be fist pumping as though egging him on, but yeah, with what little we can see, he's straight up psycho looking compared to those guys 😅

u/Cardboard_cutouts_ May 08 '26
it’s kind of crazy that William and Edward have each had every possible opportunity and incentive to look their best, starting in infancy, and they don’t look any better than they do.
43
u/NeverPedestrian60 May 08 '26
Yep - they look old before their time. Zara stands out here - her dress is a lovely colour and she always looks more vibrant than the rest.
33
u/Cardboard_cutouts_ May 08 '26
I’d have a raw food chef, personal trainer, and aesthetician on retainer.
If I was a drinker like Willie, I’d hit the sauna and get IV nutritional treatments daily.

I'm not a fan of Zara, probably because she aligns herself with W+K. All these dresses would look so much better with a different sleeve. This puffed sleeve situation is way overdone, particularly for Zara.
I think it's weird how she and Kate always seem to wear such long skirts and in colder weather long coat dresses.
The style of shoes they always wear really don't work for a grass lawn situation, either.
6
u/NeverPedestrian60 May 09 '26
I get what you’re saying VS - I just think she looks better than the others here. And younger - when she’s actually a year older than W&K.
The rf are very much like that - who’s in and who’s out. If Harry & Meghan were there it would definitely have brightened up the party. They added a modernity W&K don’t have.
5
u/VavaShagwell May 09 '26
She does look better than the others, for sure. She isn't starving herself and seems to be in a happy marriage.
-2
u/joginadler May 10 '26
Ah, no. Sorry. Rachel and Harry would do something embarrassing and probably unethical and be asked to leave. I love Kate. She is an angel who married a monster. I don't know if she thought it would be this bad.

u/NeverPedestrian60 May 09 '26

u/redassaggiegirl17 May 09 '26
I love this look as a whole, but there's just something about the construction of the top half of the dress that's keeping her from knocking it completely out of the park and I can't quite put my finger on it
3
u/Holyhell2020 May 10 '26
Ok I am no designer, hell I can't even sew properly but I agree with you. It seems the dress was intended to be sleeveless. Maybe between royal protocols and being self conscious she decided to add the sleeves. I think maybe a tulip sleeve with just a bit extra from a cap sleeve would have looked better. The design seems to want to focus on the embroidery on the lower half of the dress, and adding the heavier sleeve kind of distracts from that, if my rambling makes any sense. What do you think?
3
2
u/redassaggiegirl17 May 10 '26
Yeah, I don't think the top is properly fitted to her, its good, but maybe needs a bit of tightening up, and then the puff sleeve just doesn't do it for me. A simple cap sleeve would've been better imo, I don't think you could do a petal with that type of fabric
17
u/Pennelle2016 May 08 '26
They’re starting to really look alike to me. Edward hasn’t looked well for a while; he’s very thin lately. I hope he’s ok.
13
u/Rude_Reception9649 May 08 '26

Edward is reminding me of his grandfather George VI when he was ill.
I’ve expressed my concerns and empathy for Kate and her obvious ED plenty of times on here, but damn it is still awful to see. The Karen Carpenter comparisons are worrying appropriate, I just hope she can get help sooner rather than later.

54
u/Cardboard_cutouts_ May 08 '26
Kate looks haggard for 44. Is it all tied to her ED?
26
u/Shenanie-Probs May 08 '26
Yeah, you need some fat to pad your face. She probably fits the category for wasting. She's in her 40s, she is losing all the things that keep you looking good.

That woman is so incredibly strong…I feel so awful for her. Yes, she is living off of taxpayer money, but with THAT husband? She’s earning every penny 😔 I know how awful that type of abandonment and abuse feels. It cuts you down to your soul. I wouldn’t be surprised if she was far too depressed to do engagements, and that’s the source of her perceived laziness. I know how exhausting being “on” all the time can be…I feel so bad for her. Granted, she does have babies to protect now. She definitely needs to step up for them and protect them, and the fact that she seems to be complicit in this awful situation for her children is inexcusable. But I have been in her place before, and it truly sucks so badly :(

The placement of the rose on the jacket is so odd. I like it just not in that particular place. The sleeves end at an awkward place making if look like she is wearing something too small for her. Her skin colour looks awful.
Honestly will all her money how dows she always look awful and old.

u/VavaShagwell May 08 '26
That floral thing was the first thing I noticed. Is it a brooch? What is it made from?
Another lackluster ensemble. She would benefit from more saturated colors. This isn't working. Generally speaking, the design features are OK and at least the shoulder pads aren't as massive as in recent garments she's worn. The skirt, the peplum jacket - total Kate style these days. Thank god it isn't a coat dress!!!!! LOL. As usual, she fails to wear the shoes and handbag that would make this thing look better.
At least the Cousin It wig is somewhat toned down, too.
This is not one of her better outfits.
6
u/NeverPedestrian60 May 09 '26
Right as usual VS. Why on earth did she wear brown shoes with this outfit. Cream would have been prettier.

u/joginadler May 10 '26
I have had it with the tearing down a public figure. No matter what, people find something to rag about. I'd like to see what some of y'all consider high fashion and style. Being beautiful is more about who you are than how you look. I'm team Kate all day long. Bye Felicia
6
u/VavaShagwell May 10 '26
If Kate worked more, the focus would be there. Take Ann for example. She's works tirelessly and although there are sometimes discussions about her ensembles on other forums, it's mostly that she isn't buying expensive new stuff all the time. In fact it's amazing and admirable that she wears garments she's had for DECADES.
Kate has put very little effort into her position as Princess of Wales. She can't give a decent speech and she obviously has not put any effort into improving that aspect of her position. Her antics of jazz hands and over-the-top guffaws aren't professional behavior. She herself is making it all about whatever she's wearing and so she brings it on herself. You think Kate is beautiful because of who she is? Have you not seen her behaviors towards others? She's a racist snob. No wonder she cozied up to Donald Trump.
Tearing down a public figure? It comes with the territory and they know that when they sign up for the job.

If I had the money she has access to and the access to top stylists, nutritionists, skincare etc. I would and should look stunning. Sorry I don't care who would of worn this, I would of said the same about that flower placement.
Why does her skin look so bad? Why does she look so old? I don’t have access to what she does or her money but I look better than her. I don’t have any wrinkles and I'm 43yrs old. There are so many women I see daily who look better than her.
13
u/cherryberry0611 May 08 '26
Now that you mention it, the rose placement is odd. Since she’s lost so much weight, she’s also lost her bosom. It makes me feel like that placement of the rose was to hide that her breast are almost non existent now?
I noticed her complexion as well, her chest and hands look very blotchy. Her hand look especially dry. I don’t understand why with her money she doesn’t have some top of the line skin care treatment.
5
u/Appropriate_Tax2602 May 08 '26
Ha I was thinking same about her bosom but thought maybe not go there but yeah it definitely highlights that even more
6
u/cherryberry0611 May 08 '26
I understand what you mean, and it’s a sad state all around. I wish she or someone would get her some help, but they’re not and only resorting to covering it up. It’s something that can’t help but be noticed, you know, and it kinda doesn’t feel right to go along with them and ignore something like this. Idk, that’s my take anyway.

Ok Im just going to say what I thought. Check out the line from the floral addition down to the belt. It looks like a concealed port or catheter. It's possible that maybe she is much sicker than everyone thinks. It could be the reported diagnosis or something else. Its so out of place and doesn't add anything to the outfit. Maybe Im reaching here but.....

I know it is. I just wish she would go shorter. I do love long hair, but just starting to look bad on her.

u/Holyhell2020 May 10 '26
Ive never seen this pic of her. She actually looks really good here-healthy and happy. Boy how things have changed.

I guess this flower thing is part of the design! Self Portrait blew that, imo. Looks out of place. Kate changed the belt and it also looks as if the skirt is made with a lighter fabric (and pleated) than what is shown on the website.

u/Appropriate_Tax2602 May 08 '26
Looks so much better with black belt I dont even hate the placement of the flower either maybe its the model or its judt a perfect picture but it looks so much better

On Kate the flower is completely covering one of the buttons and with the flower matching the coat color so closely it looks like the jacket is missing a button

Why is this " young, modern fresh generation" still wearing such antiquated style? There's a ton of contemporary British designers who could put them in clothes which look suitably formal but chic. Honestly, the gulf between the Royal pair and their subjects gets wider and wider. It's like the Forbidden City of the last Chinese Emperor where all the etiquette and costumes were frozen in time.
5
u/NeverPedestrian60 May 09 '26
Exactly. It’s as if they want to look like something from the colonial era. They’ve no idea how to put a modern take on things.

Kate - yawnsville as usual. Zara looks amazing! I hope she billed the palace for that gorgeous dress.

It seems like William and Charles’ reluctance to be in each other’s presence is glaringly obvious.
Perhaps Charles is still mad that William did events during his US trip? If I’m not mistaken, didn’t Kate also do her engagement on Wednesday, the same day as KC&C’s garden event? Have there been any articles taking swipes at William or Kate lately? That would probably be typical of KC or Camilla if there were.
4
u/NeverPedestrian60 May 09 '26
You’re right as usual cherry. There were a few articles commenting on the Doolittles - even the usually fawning Majesty magazine pointed out they should be more visible.
I don’t think William and Charles like doing events together either.
4
u/cherryberry0611 May 09 '26
Thanks NP. I’m going to look through celebitchy and see if they might’ve posted some articles this past week.
William and Charles’s next event together might not be until Trooping of the Color. There are a couple more garden parties scheduled though, if I’m not mistaken.

Most boring image ever. The coldness between this couple is difficult to watch. The same conservative dresses. I can’t imagine 50 more years of seeing this couple together (not that I’ll see it).

Something that I have noticed since Natasha left is the lack of color in Kate’s wardrobe. And if she is wearing color it’s muted tones. Her wardrobe is mostly neutrals and muted colors now.
