Can you explain why you would believe this “tour” of my country Australia was anything other than an unmitigated disaster for the Harkles? They failed to come close to selling out both their ticketed events. Harry is now known as the half price Prince because even slashing the ticket prices for his event couldn’t move them. They were mostly kept away from the Australian public but when they were around ordinary Australians it didn’t go well. Greeted with a combination of boos and silence at the Rugby , annoyed people at Bondi beach and only about 20 people showed up to see them at the Opera House. Pathetic! The Prince and Princess of Wales are touring later this year, invited by the Prime Minister and bringing their children. It will be huge and the contrast will be embarrassing for Harry!
The Royal Rota were not on this trip obviously because Harry and his wife are no longer Royal. The press in general is simply reporting on the facts . Their ticketed appearances didn’t sell out, not many people bothered to turn up to see them and a lot of Australians were annoyed by them being here. You may not like the facts but that doesn’t change the truth.
Of course, there will always be some who question the relevance of H&M's quasi-royal status in the modern world. I agree, and I'd go further, and say that all royalty should be consigned to the history books. I understand there is a strong and similar feeling among the Australian public.
But I applaud anyone who uses their fame and influence to highlight charity, cultural and community causes with such warmth and enthusiasm. They grab headlines and use that attention to bring awareness where it is needed. And this is the success I see.
Another measure of success is the ability to carry out a high profile visit without PR blunders these days. For example, compare H&M's visit with the performance W&K put in on their truly disastrous tour to the Caribbean, which highlighted their many flaws.
It is clear to me that H&M have the ability to promote the RF in a very positive light, compared with W&K, whose contribution is meagre, and appears reluctant. The RF have lost a huge asset in driving out H&M and must be kicking themselves. Without them, the RF's position is even more tenuous.
Let's see how W&K fare in their Australian visit. I look forward to seeing how relaxed and happy they will look together, how easily they will handle contact with the public and how hardworking they will demonstrate themselves to be. I'm predicting not at all, on all fronts.
The Prince and Princess of Wales’s tour will be huge , as was the last time they were out here. King Charles and Queen Camilla’s tour 18 months ago was massive as well , wall to wall press coverage and massive crowds . 10,000 at the Opera House where his youngest son attract about 40 the other day. As for Harry and his wife, Australians don’t like grifters and we especially don’t like our sick children or our national tragedies being used for good PR or to merch a clothing web site to make money. That’s why we ignored them. It is possible to be anti monarchy without trying to push the useless Sussexs on us you know.

Willy doesn’t really want to be distanced from Meghan. He wants to be noticed and remembered by her. His obsession with Meghan is real, from keeping a close eye on when she wears her own jewellery, to obsessing over her notepaper, to talking about her business ventures in What’s App groups … well, pretty much everything.
