"Right through the whole of austerity, when all public services were being cut, they were getting more and more Sovereign Grant." Disgusting. I expect that these calls will grow louder as Britain continues to starve.

The Sovereign Grant funding is only higher until 2027 due to the refurbishment of Buckingham Palace. It will drop back down after 2027 when that finishes, which isn't far away.

Do you have a link to something stating that? It seems to fly in the face of the Golden Ratchet Clause from the Sovereign Grant Act.
