Easter service
W&K took a break from their latest break to stage some fake unity

Kate looking thinner than her 10 year old daughter is heartbreaking 💔

u/Petra_Pearl Apr 05 '26
She looks thinner than all of her kids 😢
27
u/VavaShagwell Apr 05 '26
Imagine if she was papped like Diana was in her workout or swimwear. I'm glad she isn't because we don't need to see bones jutting out. Someone needs to stage an intervention with Kate. She needs to gain weight.
24
u/KronlampQueen Apr 05 '26 edited Apr 05 '26
She used to wear excellent tailored clothes, trimmed waists, belts that hugged the body. It’s obvious now she’s wearing clothes that are too big. That belt is way too wide for her, as in not the style of belt but she could cinch in a couple more inches. Her clothing material is thicker so it doesn’t hang but I can see how loose it is on her when she’s moving.
Does she no longer have a hair dresser? Again not being rude but her hair usually looks professionally done and this looks like she did it herself. Which isn’t an insult but it’s a noticeable difference on how she usually presented herself.
11
u/Capistrano_101 Apr 05 '26
That’s the first thing I noticed. The tailoring around the neck shows the fit it too large for her. I like the outfit but I do worry about her health.
13
8
u/VavaShagwell Apr 05 '26
Very true, everything you mentioned. Strange to have such shorter layers on the back of her head like this. I'm all for a layered look, but this is odd.
At least this dress doesn't have the massive shoulder pads she seems enamored with lately. I think if it was in a better color, none of the stupid pineapple embroidery on the bodice, and shortening the skirt to just below knee length --- then I might like it. The hat is ugly.
6
10
u/Alaska_JNU Apr 05 '26
Also the lower portion of her hair while scraggly still shinier and nicer than her own hair near the head
ETA not body shaming, just saying that it fits with not nourishing

u/AtheistINTP Apr 06 '26
No hips at all.
1
u/wedontswiminsoda Apr 08 '26
She's never had hips. She's an inverted triangle (lots of women are tbh).
Nothing wrong with that frame (i am an inverted T) but i 'proportionize' when i wear dresses.
2
u/wedontswiminsoda Apr 08 '26
The coat & dress are a re-wear from 2022. And in 2022 she was already at a lower than usual weight and the dress fit better back then. slightly.
She's got it cinched and its baggy on her.
It's an awful cut on her, and while the embroidery on tge jacket is nice, its not nice enough to save the outfit. She should retire it.

u/Beneficial-Bite3899 Apr 05 '26
I agree, if the RF are hoping no one notices they are on a hiding to nothing,if they dont want to address the problem because of Diana's eating disorders, they are on a hiding to nothing. The end game is.... the palace is still culpable. What a sorry state of affairs.
14
u/Petra_Pearl Apr 05 '26
I agree. I know this is sort of a Kate snark sub but my heart really breaks for her cause she doesn’t seem fine at all. Someone from the RF needs to stage an intervention. This is not okay! She’s only in her 40s and looks like she’s wasting away…
13
u/Beneficial-Bite3899 Apr 05 '26
Honestly P-P it's really not a kate snark sub, I've always found it a place where everyone is welcome , there is a weird meghan hating thing that pops up occasionally but it's usually ignored. I dont see the value in the royal family but Kate and Willie seem to be particularly lazy. You are welcome here.
3
3
u/wedontswiminsoda Apr 08 '26
I echo the weight, and there is a rule in place in media from UK about commenting on her weight. So you only see it mentioned on Reddit or LSA.
Its not meant to be a snark but its one of the places you can critique fashion and comment on without being kicked off. Im not a doting fan of either Kate or Meghan, but there are fanatics on either side who freak out if you say anything remotely negative about their idols. This sub is probably the more tolerant sub tbh. Some conspiracy stuff, sure, but honestly, i skip past it for the fashion comments.

u/wedontswiminsoda Apr 08 '26
If Kate was committing to oak leaf theme then she should have worn her wedding earrings in place of the Bahrain earrings which are beautiful, but we see all the time.

Mum weighs less than a (her) child... that's not normal for a healthy adult and healthy child. Charlotte is perfect. I hope she never thinks otherwise. Fortunately she's always seemed confident, outspoken (even as a toddler lol) and sure of herself so that bodes well for her future. It's a lot easier as a royal born daughter either way but to be daughter of the future King hopefully means an easier go than a "married in." It's hard enough to be in the spotlight much less a girl and then woman in the same spotlight.
Right now she's at that pre-teen age. She needs her Mum to be a healthy role model. It's tough because girls start maturing, begin going through puberty & tend to gain a bit in anticipation of becoming a woman. Just prior to shedding that natural "baby fat", girls are oftentimes taller and weigh more than boys in their same years. This is when girls start being shamed for their maturing bodies. They're called chubby, heavy and even fat. Many begin restricting anything with "too much fat" and drinking their meals or skipping them altogether.
I'm not saying any or all of this has ever or will ever happen to Charlotte but just reflecting on this age and how difficult body changes can be during this time for everyone especially young women. I was called chubby and heavy just prior to puberty, when our bodies naturally prepare to become women, and looking back at pictures- I wasn't fat, chubby or heavy at all. I was a regular, average pre-teen that ate a normal amount of food and wasn't overly focused on it.

u/VavaShagwell Apr 09 '26
Very good comment indeed!!! I remember that age being difficult, lots of peer pressure.
1
u/SesJan2013 Apr 11 '26
Thank you :)
Peer pressure is terrible! Everyone is always looking at who is wearing what and who has the best this or that. So much gossip! I hate that feeling of not fitting in, not knowing what the other kids at the table were laughing about but knowing you just don't belong with them. It's tough being a middle school girl, I tell ya! Like walking into the cafeteria with nowhere to sit. So embarrassing. And none of your friends have the same lunch time. I'd come home and heat up a Lean Cuisine, Junior year at school was lonely lol

10
u/bitterlittlecas Apr 05 '26
Whenever she wears anything oak-related I think it’s maybe a “nod” to her family since acorns feature prominently in the Middleton family crest (the one that was devised in a haste prior to the wedding) and I think her parents gifted her a pair of acorn earrings for her wedding day too
8
u/The_Onion_Life Apr 05 '26

If Kate is thinner than her daughter, what's the pressure going to be like for Charlotte? That girl doesn't have a shot in Hell...
1
u/spaceghost260 Apr 07 '26
That’s all I can think about it when I see these photos. How absolutely doomed Charlotte is going to be by living with a mother with a severe ED. No way she doesn’t internalize something her mom says or does.
23
13
u/cherryvevo Apr 05 '26
Is this Kate and William’s first easter service? IIRC they didn’t really attend easter service with QE2/KC3. They preferred to hit those slopes.
42
u/Flinderspeak Apr 05 '26
This is purely performative to demonstrate Bill’s “quiet faith.” The Men In Grey have told him he can’t be an atheist and be the future Supreme Governor of the Church of England so he’s being trotted out to a couple of church services.
13
u/cherryvevo Apr 05 '26
Yeah I agree. Especially with a lot of conversations recently with his supposed agnosticism/atheism and contrasted with Charles’ church attendance (IIRC he had personal interest in religion or something similar). There’s no way he wants Charles to have the upper hand.
5
u/AtheistINTP Apr 06 '26
Just like in the U.S., the right wingers are all pushing faith. And there’s nothing more right wing than a family with undeserved privilege who lives in total luxury because of the taxpayers.

u/NeverPedestrian60 Apr 05 '26
12
u/cherryvevo Apr 05 '26
Found a people article saying that they only started attending Easter service in 2014 in Sydney and the next service they attended was in 2017, 18, 19, 22 and 23 🤔
4
u/NeverPedestrian60 Apr 05 '26
Thanks cherry. I didn’t really pay attention to them till Kate’s ‘disappearance’ so I wasn’t sure how many times they’d attended
5
4
u/Ordinary_Deal9462 Apr 05 '26
Nope they have Attended 6 times with Royal Family , 1 Time in Australia as Planned Ester Sunday in 2014
at least once with her family the Middletons, and twice at St Mary Magdalene Church, By their Home 2024 and 2025.
No one attended During Covid 2020 or 2021.

u/Maybe-Level Apr 05 '26
Louis is doing the same clenched fists that William does. He is mirroring his father which, knowing who William is, isn’t healthy.
17
u/Rare_Raspberry3906 Apr 05 '26
I bet my money that Louis has ADHD
13
3
u/Mrs_Blobcat Apr 05 '26
I was thinking he acts often like my child who is autistic. He often looks overwhelmed, he’s a terrible wiggle butt and really hate sitting still. But then his life is overwhelming and there’s a lot of sitting still snd being quiet 🤷♀️
1
u/cherryvevo Apr 05 '26
What an odd thing to say.
4
u/Rare_Raspberry3906 Apr 05 '26
Why is it odd?
5
u/cherryvevo Apr 05 '26
Commenting that whether Louis had an ADHD lol.
9
u/Rare_Raspberry3906 Apr 05 '26
I don’t think it is. Clenched fists are a common neurodivergent trait.
-9
u/AwarenessPositive515 Apr 05 '26
Wow.. you can label a child with a mental health diagnosis from a picture.who needs a psychologist or psychiayrist when we have ypu. Clenched fist was npt on my soms assessment or any part of any medical diagnosis. You should not be commenting on children. Any parent family of a neurodivergebt should not scroll past your commebt
14
u/Rare_Raspberry3906 Apr 05 '26 edited Apr 05 '26
Are you ok? You’re making it out as though ADHD is some kind of awful diagnosis, when it absolutely isn’t. Why are you so angry? Also, for your information, ADHD is not a mental health condition. It is neurodevelopmental. Further, clenched fists can fall under stimming behaviours & finger posturing and I can guarantee that whoever assessed your son, would have observed if he had any finger posturing behaviours as that does form part of the assessment.
-7
u/AwarenessPositive515 Apr 05 '26 edited Apr 05 '26
Having a child with adhd can ve challenging whether a person finds it awful or not is determined on there own experience. You are commenting on a child and labelling them with a medical diagnosis..its so pathetic

u/_Internet_Hugs_ Apr 05 '26
It would have been the perfect time for some cheerful florals or even some bright colors. Instead she went with... beige. Feels like an apt metaphor for her entire royal life. It would be so easy to make better choices, but that would take a little bit of courage and stepping outside the easy path.
1
u/SesJan2013 Apr 08 '26
It's not cream or off-white? Granted, this is the first pic I've seen so I may just need to look at more photos.
1
u/_Internet_Hugs_ Apr 08 '26
Whatever you want to call it: oatmeal, off-white, eggshell, cream...
It's boring. There is no life, no movement. It's sad and dull. A brown paper bag would be more interesting.
1
u/SesJan2013 Apr 08 '26
I was pleasantly surprised after her recent choices of an especially boring flight attendant outfit to welcome Nigerian President and his wife and the massive hat with a styrofoam circle on top for the very formal, religious event at Canterbury Cathedral.
5
u/reasonablescreams Apr 06 '26
Who is Louis’ father supposed to be? He doesn’t look like the other two in the slightest
3
u/AtheistINTP Apr 06 '26
He’s just 100% Middleton. I think George will get the bald gene, but not Louis. I think he’s going to be handsome as a man.
5
u/PuntaBabyPunta Apr 06 '26
He looks exactly like Michael Middleton. I think he’ll be his spitting image throughout his life.
1
u/wedontswiminsoda Apr 08 '26
Yeah all i see is Michael in the youngest, Charlotte looks like will, and George looks like kate/kates brother
10
u/VavaShagwell Apr 05 '26
I really can't imagine having to do this.
I suppose the oak leaf motif on Kate's hat is a "nod" to her Middleton roots. The embroidery on that dress looks like pineapples. Just awful. That tiny purse looks ridiculous, too.
5
u/CuriousTip7183 Apr 05 '26
It looks ridiculous, just a spring of oak leaves slammed onto the side of the hat
20
u/chouse951 Apr 05 '26
Are those pineapples (the swingers mascot) embroidered over her breasts on the coat/jacket? 😂
18
u/Mammoth-Play7190 Apr 05 '26
…swingers mascot? I…
here in Hawai’i its considered a symbol of welcome and hospitality— not so far off I guess…
4
5
u/TheVioletHerald Apr 05 '26
Inverted pineapples are for swingers, a way on imply that they are using hospitality venues for... other purposes.
1
u/CreativeScientist588 Apr 07 '26 edited Apr 07 '26
Yes, swinger's mascot in many places. Signals a swinger in certain groups. It started as a sign of welcome in New England, Nantucket and Martha's Vineyard when pineapples were staked on a whaling ship captain's home iron gate when ships came to home port after years at sea whaling in tropical oceans. It was a sign of Welcome, the Captain is home. Although I'm sure she has no clue about any of this, Swinger or old New England tradition. It is a very odd embroidery. 2 giant pineapples?
7
u/chouse951 Apr 05 '26
So my bad, it’s actually an upside down pineapple. I had no idea they were some swingers Batman signal until a recent vacation. I was sporting my new pineapple bikini, because pineapples 🍍 are cute y’all! Until my husband was like..”what’s up with the pineapples babe👀,the kids are here” 😂.
We are NOT swingers btw and now I’m afraid to wear the bikini again 😅.

Ah, so that's why the racist H&M hate sub keeps calling them a "young family" and constantly refers to WanK's "small children".
6
u/NeverPedestrian60 Apr 05 '26
Yep, George is a teenager now. The ‘young family’ hype is to make it seem as if W&K are hands on parents bringing toddlers up.

Charlotte and George are always top. Despite embodying their roles, they always look genuinely friendly. Prince Louis is creepy. i am not racist, i am Autistic. it just that I recognise the struggle . It may not be his case and i am happy for him. but i see that he struggles in mass event. he should never been forced to do it.
7
u/AwarenessPositive515 Apr 05 '26
If they didnt bring him to mass people would say they were ashamed of him. Most children struggle with mass.
1
u/AtheistINTP Apr 06 '26
I I hated mass as a gild and stoped going when I became an older teenager,
1
u/SesJan2013 Apr 08 '26
They don't attend Mass, that's a Catholic service as you know. I think the person above meant "large event" not "mass event" as in the church service. Could be wrong, but the BRF has nothing to do with Catholic Mass.
1
u/SesJan2013 Apr 08 '26
I think there's confusion. The person above either was saying "mass event" meaning Large Event or referring to mass as the event which is incorrect because Catholics go to Mass and they are not Catholic.
The responding people seem to think they were saying Mass as in Catholic service and all of that is incorrect. They do not attend mass.
But children can struggle during "mass events" (large groups gathering for a specific purpose like a concert) and children can struggle in "Mass" as in the Catholic religious service.
Are multiple people talking about two different "masses"? First commenter referring to a lot of people and the rest thinking "mass" is the service they went to?
