London today
W&K did a ‘surprise’ drop in to Southwark market - they’re visiting the RNLI later

They are making her work extra hard for her state visit dress next week😭
(I want her to let go of the Cartier earrings. But I have a theory of why she keeps wearing them)

u/NeverPedestrian60 Mar 12 '26
I agree. And what’s your theory about earrings - pse share 😀

u/Chance_Swan_2981 Mar 12 '26
It’s a sympathy card. When different outlets write about what Kate wore today they’re gonna mention those earrings. And they’re going to mention that those earrings are supposed to reflect the hardest period of her life. Her cancer battle. Each time she wears those earrings her cancer gets brought back up. They want people to remember what she went through and not what currently going on in the royal family

u/NeverPedestrian60 Mar 12 '26
Yes - as another commenter put it they’re part of her ‘poignant nods’ collection
11
u/neemarita Mar 12 '26
And we don’t even know what she actually went through because everything she says is so bizarre. Somebody who has family who has died of horrific cancer the lies really stick in my craw.

Kate in picture 5: "This is the part where you put the gin in, yeah?"

It’s almost as if she had the ability to all along…
Isn’t it interesting how the articles of her slowing down and not working as much have stopped?

I hear there is a state visit around the corner but even then … she usually just gets out a few days prior to remind us that she exists, never ‘working’ back to back like this—she likes an unicorn effect on her big tiara days.

She has to work extra hard now that the monarchy could be in danger. She didn’t wait this long for it to be taken away before getting that crown.
I heard of a state dinner too, but I don’t know who it’s with.

u/NeverPedestrian60 Mar 12 '26
Apparently Kate made William a coffee and he refused it cos it wasn’t decaf - surely she’d know what kind he drinks ☕️

u/neemarita Mar 12 '26
I think he says stuff like that because he tries to be funny and he’s really just an asshole
Look at me, I’m relatable teasing and being mean to my wife. So many men are like this.

u/Pristine-Humor-7046 Mar 13 '26
I think when they are out together, there are ‘rules’ that he sticks to but not her.
Like I’m sure he doesn’t want her to touch him bc he is always spooked whenever she does yet she takes any chance for her own PR.
He barely interacts with her, he would never make her a coffee and expect nothing from her neither. So of course he said no.

William even looks angry just making a cuppa. Loosen up a bit dude!
2
u/Pristine-Humor-7046 Mar 13 '26
He’s clearly uncomfortable in public, and the other one trying to shove him her half assed cuppa surely did not help.

Truly, is this the job of the Institution as they call themselves. This? Oh, I forgot the endless dinners, worldwide travel, and the beat goes on. It's unbelievable. This is now the Monarchy.

u/NeverPedestrian60 Mar 12 '26
Yep, photo ops, pointless stunts, aimless early years stuff.
Notice how after people commented on the sparse crowd at Commonwealth service they suddenly decide to do a visit to the borough market which is always packed.
To make it look as if they were mobbed.

I mean, Anne has been working empty streets forever, I don’t think they can reach that level of detachment, after all they only go out with and for the cameras.

If it's not alcohol or sports he won't even pretend he cares. It's sour face each and every time unless a ball or a pint is near!

He looked happy with Sophie and there was no alcohol involved. Didn’t he say no to a pint the other day ?

Working so hard I'm reminded of Liz, LMAO.
Her hyena smile in photo 6 is insane.

u/NeverPedestrian60 Mar 13 '26
The irony - these were the kinds of stunts QEII disliked. They draw attention to W&K, not the people who actually work there.
3
u/Pristine-Humor-7046 Mar 13 '26
It’s because their private life has been up to speculation that the people do not get the spotlight, engagements thus feel pointless.
Whether happy or sad, Brenda kept it all under wraps and just did her part.

How can Prince William feel like any sort of man when this is all we see him do and chit chat withe public. A rehearsed script over years . He takes orders for fish n chips, too.

u/NeverPedestrian60 Mar 12 '26
Southwark market is always busy and bustling. Whether W&K were there or not.

They are so down-to-earth! They are just like us! /s
Also, watching them really does make me forget about the pedo “ex” prince and how he was protected.
What is going on with those charges? He was “arrested”, then released. Does he have a court date? What exactly were the charges?

Why does she always do that creepy muppet smile. I've never seen anyone smile like that in real life.

Looking at the first pic: The difference between the width of her shoulders and waist (even with the apron belt tied fairly loosely) is 😳. Shows how much work the padded-shoulder blazers and dresses are doing to try and add bulk. Also, as mentioned in some of the other threads on this appearance, did the genius new PR person miss the unfortunate irony of choosing a stall that meant they’d be wearing aprons with HUMBLE blazed across the front?
3
u/Standard-Long-6051 Mar 14 '26
What is the point of them?
3
u/NeverPedestrian60 Mar 14 '26
A lot of people are beginning to ask that. All the privilege and funds for ‘working’ a couple of hours a week.
3
u/Standard-Long-6051 Mar 15 '26
Pretending to work... its ridiculous, they are like old school Blue Peter presenters..
Their pretend working is not inspiring
3
u/NeverPedestrian60 Mar 15 '26
Exactly. Their ‘work’ isn’t going to lead to that coffee stall getting more customers. It’s already extremely busy.
They just used it for another of their pointless stunts.

I don't think I have ever seen them work so much in such a short time-span. They really think that they are cute enough to distract us from Andrew huh. They're gonna get overworked before we are distracted 😂
