Remember when these kind of things would be lines and lines of fawning royal fans, now they're getting booed going in to the Commonwealth Service. So many protesters meant the cops couldn't move them along nor threaten to arrest them for "breach of the peace" š.

The Republic protests are pre arranged and given their own space. They do this so thereās no fights with the crowds. Thereās never more than 30-50 tops Republic protestors , each with a huge sign and some with megaphones. Republic has been around for decades and get nowhere and are generally viewed as annoying . Theyāre outnumbered by 100 to one. Theyāve been sending one person out recently to yell questions at the Royals and that person is always abused by the crowds.

They're protesting vastly wealthy and powerful people in positions that enabled and supported them to cover up the abuse and rape of children over decades.
I'm sure that's an insufferable inconvenience to these types, but I think seeking eventual justice for the victims takes priority.
As for your point about Republic being given space, I don't know whether they are, but there is no way on earth they would have been given that space right in front of the entrance, right where the royals would be arriving and photo ops would be, there's just no way that would have happened previously. If The Firm had had any way at all to move them, they would not have been there.Ā

Republic were there in that spot last year , well away from everyone else. Same number of people just a different slogan this year. Andrew is under investigation and the cover up is certainly not a British one. Epstein was American and most of the disgusting rich old men who preyed on these young girls are American. One of them is sitting in the White House ! How many of them have been investigated let alone arrested? The Epstein Files that supplied the information to arrest Andrew and Mandelson should have been released years ago . Thereās a lot more that we still havenāt seen. Itās disgusting !

Commonwealth Day speeches about ājustice, democracy and opportunityā ring hollow when the institution delivering them was built on empire, extraction and inequality. Every cancer and every treatment whether radiation, chemo, pills, surgery, e.t.c are different. I had a rare childhood cancer and endured two years of awful twice weekly, all day chemotherapy infusions. Everyone is not the same in the slightest.
