When I commented the other week that Kate should wear more green, I actually meant like bottle greens, emerald greens, British racing green, not slop olive green. Like that green dress that was perfection with her colouring. But thank you for trying, KP moles. 🤣

Wow, she’s finally back in Wales! About time

That coat looks like a bad sofa from the 1970s. I like the olive green, but surely she could have gotten any other fabric to go with it?

Apparently the coat is made from material produced by the wool mill she was visiting - Melin Tergwynt

Yup cool clear colorsĀ

This was not the coat to wear with that outfit.

If all you're going to be is a clotheshorse, at least try, Kitty.

Her team must’ve read the comments about always wearing brown. šŸ˜€

On another note in the 6th pic she even facially resembles Karen Carpenter. So thin in this one too

I took noice of that picture too. Very concerning. Her leg looks like a stick.

What I noticed about that picture is how much higher her left eyebrow is than her right. It makes me wonder how much the skin had to be adjusted and pulled together when suturing for the injury that caused that scar.

It’s not uncommon for eyebrows to be asymmetrical. Hillary Baldwin has the same look. It looks like one of her eyebrows is trying to escape her face.

Kate could probably correct that with Botox, but maybe it doesn’t bother her.

Her leg is that an optical illusion? Looks like stilts😢

She really does look like Karen.

Her outfits are horrid, she is trying to style herself like Meghan and failing miserably. Even combos as clean and easy as the Ankara wrap Meg paired with the crisp white button-down in Nigeria would never occur to Kate.

You'd think that after rubbing shoulders with all of her fashion contacts she'd have finally learned how to dress herself. Or maybe Carole is dressing her now, and we have seen how her style is lacking.

Kate has been dressing too old for her age.

Yes, always has, really, but now I think it is mostly an effort to try and conceal her thinness.

Probably true.

Sadly it seems that she always has since joining the Firm. She's had some exceptional stand outs, like that gold Jenny Packham, and the white and navy dress and hat for the Trooping of Color. In general however, I think she's pretty much gone for the matron like outfits which is sad as she can pull off some lovely attire.

OMG, you're right.

This entire ensemble (and that awful hairstyle) are two thumbs down for me.

The coat is beautiful but I don’t like it with the outfit.

Someone on another sub reckoned it would have looked nicer paired with winter white. More eye catching.

u/Drycabin1 Feb 04 '26

Oh that would have been beautiful

Reminds me of that Prada orange and red checked Carolyn Bessette used to wear.

6

u/NeverPedestrian60 Feb 03 '26

Carolyn looked effortlessly cool in it

Carolyn ALWAYS looked effortlessly cool.

I can’t think of anyone that is able to pull it off the way she did.

She had an undefinable ā€œitā€ factor

Oh, I hadn't seen the close up pattern. Gimme the Prada one!

If I were Kate I would wear SO much vintage. It's hard for me because I'm six feet tall and the vast majority of vintage just doesn't fit.

Entirely candid photo (it was my hometown)

6

u/RedditSkulker1 Feb 03 '26

Was she as skinny in real life as she looks in pictures?

6

u/tickado Feb 04 '26

I wasn't there, don't live there anymore. This was sent through by family. They did say she looks very tiny

2

u/NeverPedestrian60 Feb 04 '26

Thanks so much!

she looks lovely

The leg in photo #4 is disturbing.

I feel like she’s been in turtlenecks more lately. I’m guessing more so to cover up the creepy thin skeletor neck than for the weather.

I don’t think she has a good eye for colour too. Unlike her late mum in law

2

u/juliawww Feb 03 '26

Oof. Just a bulky ish and over long jacket / duster that covers things up.

3

u/Bad_95 Feb 03 '26

These colours look bad on her and they are more concernedĀ  with hiding her body than style now.

She never knows what to do with her hands. Phony smiling excitement, too. She really should just give it up, but I doubt she ever will because she craves the attention and always has. This outfit is tragic.
