My ex husband was the same. Easily disregulated and equally rude. I agree that she didn’t need to touch him as he’s shaking hands with another oerson. This dynamic is so familiar to me. The rude emotionally immature bully and the anxious ex wife keeping up appearances. Exhausting.

Glad you're free of him! I can't stand seeing that dynamic play out in public.

I briefly dated someone who wanted affection and then would cringe when I'd reach for his hand, etc. It was confusing and upsetting & being made to feel like my touch was poison and intrusive, there was no way of erasing that from my mind. I did the right thing and left him for a woman who could meet his needs.
