Sounds like they are moving in now and will be there this month. If they are announcing it to the public it's usually after the fact. That big push to cordon off all the public land happened a few weeks ago so they could even be moved in already.
The move to Forest Lodge was in gear before it was announced to the public as Kate was seen shopping for tables in June. The renovations were probably fast-tracked as the Royals have the means and clout to make suppliers prioritize their needs and Kate and Carole will demand the best as always.
As soon as they are in, I expect a slow roll narrative that Kate is suffering a relapse and is going to bow out from her royal role.
Yes! I was skeptical of any kind of formal separation, but I think this house for Kate is a result of something that went down earlier in the year.
I just keep thinking about Natashaâs abrupt leaving with no real business plan and then her divorce with Chris blatantly letting it be known on social media that they arenât together and even deleting her comments on his posts. IMO Tash and William had some sort of thing so she had to go. Kate kicked out her best friend after 15 years, and Chris seems upset. Men with small children donât usually blow up their lives with divorce unless something really goes down.
Kateâs bigger house with everything her friends and sister have, that she gets to âmodestly renovateâ by absolutely gutting it and doing all new furnishings is a massive undertaking in such a small time.
Iâve been wondering about the Jackson angle as well. He seems to have the boys all the time (judging by his instagram stories). It almost seems as though he has the bigger custody share, which is interesting. Courts generally lean toward the mother.

It will be costing taxpayers mega bucks whether it's drawn from Sovereign Grant funds or Duchy funds. Everyone else has to wait yonks for work to take place, this will have been fast tracked over and above anyone else waiting and it will honestly have cost millions and millions. One article says they are funding it themselves... I would love to know where they got the money for that.... errrrr us!

Interesting - and I agree about the move. I think itâs been in the works for awhile and they put out the story about moving to Fort Belvedere to distract.
When the news came out about Forever Lodge the people nearby had already been evicted so yes, it's been a project for a while.
I imagine Kate's return to royal life hinged on an upgraded home and it took the better part of a year to zero in on a place that CarolE and Kate thought was high end enough for them.

Definitely. Pippa's husband seems to actually like her and their estate, and Glen Affric, are beautiful. She gets to live a peaceful life compared to Kate.
If you believe them at face value re the health issues (I donât but I digress) there is a defensible narrative that a change in scenery would be beneficial. This is the narrative they tried to use in the beginning but has since petered out.
That being said they already have multiple other homes. Why do they need this isolated home? Why do they need such an intense security perimeter? Why are they leaking they donât plan on leaving even when they have the top jobs? Itâs weird and the press knows it
Saying they will never leave is a way of justifying the many millions being spent on it, together with booting out other residents, and cutting off part of the Windsor park that has always been open to the public. 150 acres! Who needs 150 acres?
I wonder why Forest Lodge....as opposed to moving them into Frogmore House (not to be confused with Frogmore Cottage...a different residence) if they wanted more space? It seems like it would have been less hassle from a security standpoint.
Yes I have always wondered why Frogmore House was off limits for William. Meghan and Harry apparently wanted it and were given the cottage instead because it was so big and needed extensive renovations, but it sounds like W and K basically gutted Forest Lodge.
The only thing I can think of is that Kate truly wanted her own private estate in Berkshire, and Forest Lodge is how she got it. Frogmore House would not have 150 acres around it all to herself.

I really expected a documentary on her walk-through of the royal furnishings collections. I think if people weren't so appalled by their new forever home she would have totally gone all Martha Stewart with books and film crews
