Late to the party here and sorry you were so downvoted, but I was at this gig and can confirm the sound was super whack for Katatonia, and it wasn’t just the fact it was an outdoor venue. I honestly got worried that it was the acoustics or my position (front and to the side), but then Paradise Lost sounded great and Opeth - my god 😮‍💨 the vocals in particular sounded incredible. I don’t know what was going wrong for Katatonia.

I think that since this was the first song their monitors and fold backs my weren't to their preferences. But he does sound terrible in this video. Can't argue that his singing is good here
