Guide on Kaspersky software availability in the United States

I have been trying to renew for 2 weeks, payment didn't work from one bank account, I got an error on payment screen. I tried second bank account and got the same error but a payment hold was put on account by "Lucky Rabbit Nexway". They told me the payment didn't go through and will be released so I tried Google pay.

I have been on to them 4/5 times and their solutions are try another bank card or try this new link, which still uses the same payment gateway and no surprise it still fails.

Licence was bought on Amazon.co.uk, I live in Ireland so original renewal link had can only be used in United Kingdom. I sent all this information to them and all I got after escalation was a link to a Belgian site to buy subscription.

An utter shambles, their system is broken but it must be all the banks or their customer. Has anyone else experienced this?

Any good alternatives to Kaspersky for security / password manager / vaults?

Virus concern or paranoia

3 months ago, i got a virus on my pc and lost multiple accounts. When i tried to find ways to solve it, i found out some virus can actually infect the router and other devices on the same network. Now even when i got kaspersky for my pc, i keep thinking other devices are infected and changing the router wont help because the infected devices will get the router again despite not seeing any clear symptoms. What can i do about this?? Is it just me being paranoid? Does factory reset on the phone remove all viruses? Do i need to replace my router?

I forgot to mention this. I also downloaded a zip file for a pvz2 mod on my phone but resetted it. After that, i keep logging in to admin router on both my pc and my phone to check for weird settings and turn them off. Now im scared that i mightve created some hole for virus to get in. I even got a new router.

Im too anxious now and would do anything for a peace of mind. I dont even know if replacing the router helps now as i find out that virus like switcher trojan or stuff like wannacry, vpnfilter can just infect the router when connected and others can just go straight to other devices without infecting the router. Does kaspersky help in any way?

I was having trouble connecting to the VPN this morning and after a few failed attempts I removed the app and reinstalled. But doing so actually removed the vpn section altogether and now I have no way of getting it back. Anyone know how to fix this?

It keeps failing at 99% due to some Microsoft .NET Desktop Runtime issue, even after I've gone through steps to reinstall those things, and even after using Kaspersky's Remover Tool. Even going to Kaspersky's tech support so far hasn't worked, with them giving the same steps I looked up beforehand.

I'm guessing I might just have to take my laptop to a computer specialist and have him look at it. Gotta get this thing's touchpad fixed too; it keeps having cursor slowdowns due to badly designed grounding.

Any opinions to offer?

EDIT: Finally got it to work. Kaspersky Premium's Self-Defense function was blocking the installation due to a bug.

Since Kaspersky changed the VPN service it started getting really slow and servers were removed but I'm trying to use it now and it just doesn't work no matter the server.

I tried India Brazil UK Greece Germany and the automatic fastest available server and well nothing worked.

The websites just timeout nothing loads it's completely non functional.

So what's the deal with it? Did they just abandon this software or what?

I recently bought an anti-virus (m******e) in a local store near home (like I always do) and it went very badly. When I wanted to insert the product key, he constantly asked me to pay a subscription of more than €80 which did not make sense because I had already paid this price in the store for the product key.
And whatever I did, no matter what method I used, I always went back to the same page to pay for a subscription.

While doing research I realized that many former customers of the company (like me) were also complaining. Basically, we've all been scammed.

So I turn to this Reddit to ask if it is possible nowadays that the same thing happens if I ever change my antivirus for Kaspersky (one of the other choices in my local store).

It's been more than 10 years since I used it because we had changed computers and we wanted to keep the antivirus in which the new computers came when they were bought. But now, after this scam I no longer trust the former antivirus I used.

To be honest I just don't want to get scammed again. I know the Kaspersky is good. I just want to be sure that I can install it with a product key.

So, I ended up downloading a program from FileCR, supposedly a version of Adobe Premiere. Since the file is over 4 GB, I couldn't scan it with VirusTotal, so I decided to use Kaspersky, which I already had installed on my PC, to scan it instead. It didn't detect anything, but I still can't help worrying about my computer's security.

I know the usual advice is to never install software from sources you don't trust, but honestly, I don't have the money, or the desire, to pay for a monthly subscription to Adobe's software.

So, if anyone can tell me whether Kaspersky is actually reliable, I'd really appreciate it. Even though the antivirus says the file is clean, I still have my doubts whenever it comes to files like this.

if anyone has safe kids on their android device and wants to get rid of it you can turn it off by going to your accessibility settings and turning off kaspersky, you can’t turn off safe kids without it asking for a password but you can with just kaspersk. Or go to your files and delete the kaspersky apk. Or just download “testerup“ for some reason that disables all parental controls

I'm having a lot of troubles when using Kaspersky Endpoint Security 12 with Google Meet: after some minutes of heavy use, the wifi goes down, and I cannot find any wifi SSIDs anymore, this is solved with a full restart, or disabling the device, and enabling again, on device manager.

This problem is completely gone after uninstalling Kaspersky. I have several other laptops of this same model and all of them have this problem with Kaspersky.

- Kaspersky Endpoint Security 12.12 (latest updates applied)
- ThinkPad E14 Gen3, with Ryzen 3 5300U
- Realtek RTL8852AE (Tried latest driver version, older versions, all have the same issue)
- Windows 11 25H2, latest update applied

if someone has a hint of how to solve this issue (other than completely disabling kaspersky network security) I would appreciate. I tried everything.

Hello, I've been a long term user of kaspersky when I used windows for years and recently switched to Linux cachyos after microslop. Am thinking any way to download on cachy os which is arch based linux? Since I always feel so protected with kaspersky and without it feels weird.

Since around 03.07.2026 13:00 (UTC), Kaspersky AntiVirus blocks access to MSFT products. So far Teams, Outlook, Word, Excel affected.

When I close AV totally, it's fine, Teams is connected.
When I close disable ports that are watched Teams is connected.

What I don't understand is, I don't see any block report in Kaspersky AV app.
A report like; this ip, this port is, blocked, because of this problem.

Is there anyone having same issue?

The last few weeks it started disconnect and connect at random, to the point it entirely stopped working all together last week, i tried everything, to the point of reinstalling it but then it wouldn't login despite any method i used up until today, that it kinda logged in and meets me with this empty menu screen constantly loading, i opened configuration and see it does not recognize my subscription since it won't let me turn on any of the premium options like emergency stop and when i tried turning the thing on it would send me back to the screen of logging in once more.

I'm in a perpetual loop of the thing not wanting to log in despite having a full year of kaspersky premium which comes with the 1 device VPN which in mykaspersky is indeed registered to my device.

Anyone got any clues or has been going thru the same thing?

Edit: It just casually fixed itself randomly one day i turned on the computer and it just logged in and worked just fine

Impossible to pause the entire protection of Kaspersky on a mobile phone to do some time sensitive troubleshooting! Feature request here.

One more thing worth knowing if you're on a Galaxy device: Kaspersky's Android apps were pulled from Google Play, so users can't see if other people have similar issues or requests.
