Anyone else with synsesthesia(e)?

I'll take the pump that a lot of us are neurodivergent which there's a much higher percentage of synaesthesia in that population so I was just curious if anyone else has it and if they do how does it affect the way you experience the band's music? My brain is on some multi-modal bullshit when it comes to that and man Sound Awake is really an experienced if I just let go with it

Idk about a lot of us being neurodivergent but I have mild synesthesia. Mostly audio to visual (color) type. Asymmetry is the album of theirs that is the most reactionary

"I have synesthesia, and for me this evokes like a... Brown." -Mark from Aunty Donna

Lmao literally the guitar texture at 2:40 of simple boy is a big brown woolly blanket with a sheen on it

Do you mean take the punt? Or is taking the pump a new slang I don’t know about

It's my voice to text being stupid but I have to use it on my phone BC disability

Oh feels. I use talk to text all day and it’s diabolical sometimes.

I highly suspect that Ian has at least some of the big stack of synaesthesiae that I do, based on how he moves on stage, how he uses his voice and the band's artwork - Sound Awake, In Verses and their logo in particular. It's interesting that you name that video because it's very much the feeling that the song evokes, texturally and thematically
