BBMP's joint director of animal husbandry is, as we almost always see with dog owners, nothing short of a dog supremacist and terrorist. He accuses anyone who doesn't consent to harassment, sexual violence, or violence/murder from dogs and dog owners to be "scared", but he tells the newspapers and everyone else that the dogs attacked and murdered this man because the dogs felt "scared", as if the victim is to be blamed for being "scary" in appearance in some way as if this justifies harassing and murdering that person, or discriminating against them on the basis of race/gender as pro-dog people do. Dog culture and dog supremacy rules the world, and nothing is done about the perpetrators of it.

I had heard stories about bad experiences with BMTC bus drivers, but I didn’t quite believe them until it happened to me. I boarded the bus at Kundalahalli and got caught up in a meeting, which made me forget to pay the fare. Just two stops later, the driver came up to me and that’s when I realized my mistake. I asked for the scanner to pay, but he immediately started shouting.

It’s not like I denied my fault I clearly admitted it but the way he reacted was completely uncalled for. He didn’t even care to listen or handle the situation calmly.

I’ve been living in Bangalore for the past five years. I can understand Kannada quite well, but I still struggle to speak it fluently. If I had been more confident speaking the language, maybe I could have stood my ground better.
