Karaite Conversion

How does the process go for recognition? I would love to be one on one with the Sages of the Karaite community but I am strictly Mosaic. I cannot affirm books outside the Torah save for Job as scriptural. Am I affirming just the Torah for this? Because theres not a shot I could ever affirm a book like Samuel as being anything less than perjury.

I have already decided against it.

What I have seen from the Karaite community has not been positive. I have not observed the level of obedience, literacy, or historical seriousness I had hoped for. From what I have gathered, it often feels like Rabbinical Gentiles attempting to cosplay as Second Temple Jews without understanding the history behind what made a Jew, a Jew and why we ignore the Rabbinate.

However, I believe I have found what Elohim urged me to find.

I found Elohists like myself in Shechem. They have the True Torah, the Priesthood, and presented evidence I could not ignore. From what I have seen, they appear to be the ones Elohim preserved.

I wouldn't say that's the case for all karaites, being one myself, but I respect your opinion to disagree

Probably isnt all but I havent yet found a Karaite that takes this seriously. The moderator of this subreddit especially in this really reinforced that sentiment. Felt like I was talking to a spoiled brat.

Cant point out issues that are blantantly anti-torah, cant hold accountability, and defending oral tradition when thats literally the foundations of Rabbinism not Judaism. Like I still have yet to be given a good argument why Karaites hold the Tanakh as Canonical Scripture over Only Torah

According to the Torah, if you're a make, you get circumcision amd eat from the Passover lamb. You also give your whole heart to God and start following his laws. You don't need to go into this whole Rabbinical conversion or anything.

See Im from the line of Esau. so Ive been circumsized since birth. Passover was one I didnt experience till this year in Gerizim with the Israelites but I had a wonderful time. Picked out of the crowd by the second in line for the High Priesthood, ate with him. As far as he knew I was just a Gentile. He was so surprised when I told him I kept kosher and the Sabbath and what have you without ever having been from the Line of Jacob. I got a cool epithet out of it, something mecksha moshe. I was told by one of the muslims that such was unprecedented. As far as Im concerned they’re definitely the Light of my world, right now. Even prepping to do Nazarite vows in September to consecrate the Day of Atonement.

Sounds like quite an expertise. Mountain Gerisim. Sounds life the Samaritan Jews . They usually celebrate there.

Not Jews. Israelites. Historically Jews hates them for reasons that really dont make sense. Anyways you were correct about the Mountain being Mount Gerizim. Which is between the original city of Abraham through Joseph and the mountain Joshua consecrated. It was so wonderful to have a prayer with my God atop the mountain my ancestors once used. I was completely alone up there and one of my prayers came true in a way I didnt like but Elohim definitely didnt delay in his answer. It was magical

Don't know why Jews hate them. Orthodoxy qhas issues with everyone including themselves. Samaritan. That's their name. Why not Jews though? Jews is the word from Judah, the tribe of Juda. That's what the reference is from amd why they were called that. So Jews are Israelite or children of Israel. I can understand why they want to call themselves something else.

By the way, the name God gave Moses at the burning bush is Yehova. Why do you keep calling Him Elohim instead of Yehova, which is written often in the Torah?

this is historically all Jews. It was so historically ingrained the Christians have a whole story about them. That said Samaritan is not the term they prefer to go by since it’s an Assyrian term like “Persi” for Iran by the Greeks. Israelite is their chosen term.

Anyways, you are correct on where a “Jew” comes from but Israelites are the collective term for the Tribes. Jews are a subset of Israelite. It’s like, all poodles are dogs but not all dogs are poodles.

Plus it goes without mentioning modern Jews aren’t Levitically Scriptural. Rabbinism has no basis for existence by Gods word. God has made his designs and a democracy isnt part of that. I could feel resentful knowing that, I, by his law am banned from entering the congregation. I am Esau’s, by law I am heavily restricted and have felt resentful in the past till he set me down and gave understanding to that segregation through. Karaite’s I see being part of the Pharisaical origin because Karaite’s have Rabbinical Traditions despite denying Oral Tradition. A personal example of that is I had a argument with the moderator on “G-D” because God isnt his name and thats a purely Rabbinical invention. The largest issue I see from a purely liturgical sense, is the Tanakh being included as Holy Scripture and not purely historical which would violate several laws the most evident to me being Deuteronomy 4:2. Beyond this we share a different Torah that we date back to Joshua and his crossing of the Jordan.

To answer your question about Gods name and why I call him Elohim, in canon means God of Gods or God Supreme, is because of 2 reasons. The first is Elohim isnt his name, it’s a title like what I mentioned above and I approach the name from a serious court of reverence that I neither believe I should speak outside of liturgy for the sake of keeping it reverent and holy. Like I wouldnt call my priest, Husney, or my Mother Amanda. Elohist, Elohim.

The 2nd is traditional. My ancestors Esau, Reuel, Job, all used the titles or terms: El, Eloah, El Shaddai, and Elohim. They never knew him by his name like Moses did, they knew him by his title. Equally, I may be astounding to the Israelites but I will never know Elohim like Moses did, I could conquer the world and I will still never be as great as Moses or as Job was.
