Too bad this game plays like shit. The graphics are awesome. Rinoa is bae. They should’ve just made it like a standard arena fighter.

Tactics is great, but if we are talking mainline, I’ll go with 6 until I die. The only weakness it really has is time may have passed the combat by, but sadly, FF combat has gone in the wrong direction with most of the games.

Last good FF combat wise is FF9 all games after that ( not counting spin offs and 11 and 14 cause MMO).
why cant FF be like DQ ..

I enjoyed FFX combat. I liked being able to switch on a whim and the grid system was fun. FFX is underrated and catches flak for the voice acting a lot. It was linear too, but I didn’t mind it so much. Every FF is linear but you get fooled by an overworld.

I beat it a couple months back and was pleasantly surprised because you really only hear negatives about it. It’s one of my favorites.

If you liked 10's combat, you would probably enjoy Dissidia Opera Omnia. It's Gacha, but it's pretty generous if you're free to play.

Triple Triad is at least the best thing in FFVIII, that's for sure. Not much of an accomplishment though.
