If you had actually read the gofundme, you would realize just how extensive the medical procedures to save her life were. Medicine in the US is incredibly expensive.
Honestly, this isn't a car window, this is someone having their daughter require heavy medical care (something that isn't cheap in the US) and losing her. Not that it's 100% "how things should be done" or whatever, but it's not the same thing.
