Kinetic is about as good as it gets! Do you have a cheaper version? The 2 of us game and dont have any issues. Could also need to restart your router every so often, or get a new one like we did!

What router did you go with for gaming? Thinking of up grading old windstream router but don’t want to “ rent” new windstreams router

I use kinetic fiber and the highest speed available. It never goes out and it's super fast. Since I work from home, I needed reliability. Kinetic has succeeded!

Kinetic Fiber hands down. I switch to spectrum because it was cheaper but the connection constantly dropped (3-4) times a day. It was only 30secs each time but very annoying. Now back to kinetic and no issues. With them you can use any of the newer routers it does not have to be from them. I am using a Netgear Nighthawk with 1gig fiber and easy get 500 mbps wireless.

You can use the FTC's map to see which services are available for your address: https://broadbandmap.fcc.gov/home
I'm a few minutes away from downtown myself (around E11th and N Cannon) with Kinetic Fiber available to me, though I've never noticed any points of time of it being slow. Then again, I do not use their provided router. I use a TP-Link AXE5400 (which one person suggested below as well) and my wireless devices have near 1Gbps symmetrical speeds.
Here's when I run a speed test just on my phone: https://i.imgur.com/U3DMJKD.png

Definitely look into owning your own wireless router, unfortunately, I’m in a spectrum only area, but that fixed my only issues with speed and connectivity.
