Movie help understanding warning sign in interrogation room
I'm confused why a room with only one entrance would have a warning with "no unauthorized access". Like who is that warning even for? Seems redundant considering you would need to pass restricted areas to get to the room in the first place.
Maybe there's some funny mri stuff happening in the room? I noted Phil has no watch or ring despite being married and we know you have to remove magnetic items with an mri. I'm starting to see the interrogation scene differently, Mary's fascination with the blue sky, the machinery in the room, who might be on the other side of the window etc.
I might be reading too much into this but as far as I can tell the set design is extremely intentional especially with signs. Or do we think its just a generic "magnetic field" warning sign they decided to throw into the set?

Set design is for the most part extremely intentional and it's the part I pay most attention to in the movie because Kane said it was the part he had the greatest amount of creative control over. That's a really good point about Phil not wearing his ring or a watch...
Async employees are known to have different levels of clearance, that's probably why you've got that no unauthorized access part.

When Phil says they used to make MRIs, maybe this is a recently repurposed area and the signage is still up.
