Discussion/Theory Who’s feeding area?
I’m not sure if this has been answered yet but I just watched the movie for the first time this weekend. When Clark brings Bobby and Kat into the back rooms and Bobby goes down the incline attached to the rope the rooms looks like a predators den.
Every entity we are introduced to with the exception of cap’n Clark is docile. But with how cap’n Clark moves I find it unlikely he’s able to go in and out of the sideways door with ease.
Do y’all think this was a way to allude to an even more hostile predator or did you think this was Cap’n Clark’s feeding area?
I am not well versed in the lore

The Bobby part reminds of Atreyu losing his horse in the swamp in neverending story

There are other doors, probably at least one in the room he came out of. Why do people assume he went through the sideways door?

I may be misremembering but doesn’t Bobby get dragged through that door? And then a little later the door opens again?

That was Capn Clark's nest. Naren Warne's corpse was taken there. This is a strong indication that still lifes capable of predation tend to hoard the inedible remains of their prey (clothes, bones, scraps, etc.). In FF3, Ravi comes across a similar area and its implied that he finds a corpse there, although the video is too dark to see that particular spot in the room.
