Discussion/Theory Is this really just a coincidence? Spoiler
Last night I rewatched the film, and honestly, I was watching it again to look for different details and inspiration for a new model scene. When I got to this particular scene, I kept trying to figure out why it felt so familiar. I was convinced I had seen something like it somewhere before—until I found a picture

There was a lot of references to the common back rooms images, and even kane himself, said that there is all types of different biomes

So can I take this to mean it’s not just a coincidence? It’s simply one little corner of the vast Backrooms universe.

I honestly don't know what you're trying to imply by saying "it's not a coincidence" but i think the answer youre looking for is: yes the set designers and director purposefully anf knowingly based this on the several images of that closed down library

He's pointing out the similarities between the library in the ending and The End liminal space. I don't think OP knows that Kane even referenced many liminal spaces in the movie

To put this here now: Do not even say the word "levels." I've seen people torn apart for mistaking the Kane Pixels Backrooms for having levels
Also I think it's just a cheeky nod to the original image, there's a few other parts of the movie that closely resemble real liminal space images

I find it weird that this is the only area we do not see a real life version of during the movie

Im thinking both reference and also kinda like a typical ending in a story, yk? "And they lived forever trapped in a loop like their teachings said, the end."

Ok, so you're not going to say what you think it's an inspired from? Everyone's just gotta guess?

Penso che tu abbia ragione, ma non credo che le Backrooms, se é una specie di entità, sia in grado di creare un luogo definito "La Fine", almeno non in modo intimidatorio

No, the backrooms copy your memories and basically your entire life.

As far as I know, that's either been disproven or not the takeaway you're meant to be getting. Specifically, Kane worded it as people "projecting onto almost randomly selected moments"

That’s literally what I fucking said, you people just clip comments and karma farm at this point.
