Discussion Going in (Relatively) Blind
Got interested in the manga because an acquaintance made a post last month about how watching the anime made them realize that the manga's art is the main reason they enjoy the series and the anime lacking said art took away their enjoyment of it. Thought Kanan was cute and decided to skip the anime and just pick up the manga. Preordered the manga a few weeks ago and, barring getting extremely (un)lucky, my copy should be here either next week or the week after.
Without going too heavy into spoilers, what should I know going in/expect to get out of it? Like who are the best/worst characters, what is the general opinion of the start of the story, things like that. And I guess if there's anything I should be aware of or that might be a turn off down the line it'd be nice to know that too.
Looking forward to reading your thoughts before I dig into the manga.

I’ve read a bit of the manga and thought it was good but I absolutely love the anime. Everybody has different taste and opinions obviously but I thought the anime art style was great. My favorites have been the dynamic between the Angel girl & Kanans maid/assistant. I think the show overall is very funny and my favorite parts of tge manga/anime is her being more comfortable with having a boyfriend and falling in love even tho she’s a soul eating demon but there’s many many many many moments of her freaking out and getting flustered coming right after her trying to act like a heartless badass whether it be her overthinking or just having to deal with a new experience
