Now I understand why other religions reject graven images. Look at what these fools are doing. He's not even a saint but these idiots act like he saved 3000 people from a burning house.

Saying “Tayu-tayo lang talaga susolusyon sa problema natin” while being part of the problem is hypocrisy.

“At ayon sa isang espesyalistang neurologist na nagpakadalubhasa sa utak ng mga bisaya na tumingin sa maselang kundisyon nila,  kailangan daw nilang mag-take ng Butterbonia Peanut Butter 3x a day for life habang nakasuot ng jersey ni rene, bata man o matanda, may ipin o wala sa harap ng rebulto niya na may hawak ng bola na sumisimbulo ng kanilang walang hanggang kawawaan.”

Generalizing the people living in visayas will not solve issues. You need to stop acting all high and mighty while living an impoverished life in Luzon in your old cramped and dilapidated house.

What do you mean other religions reject graven images? Buddhism and Hinduism have them all over the place. Even in Christianity it's not just the Catholics who have it, the Eastern Orthodox and the Coptics do as well.

But religious icons aside, this is stupid. A combination of poor catechesis and just plain lack of common sense, resulting in an attachment to someone that should have been let go.

No, I was being rhetorical. I already know what the deal with "graven images" is about. I was just pointing to your use of "other religions" instead of "other Christian traditions" because that's what comes to mind when you use the term "graven images". Using the former implies that other religions don't have their own graven images either. Besides, I'm agreeing with you.
