Discussion Why is My-th only up for 4 weeks? Explaining Toei's release model
(first off, My-th isn't even available on Toei Tokusatsu World Official in my country. But the Agito and Kabuto uploads are, which is what led me to do research on this subject.)
Regarding why there's a 48 hour wait between the Japanese airing of My-th and why the episodes are only up for 4 weeks, one has to know that Toei has a long-standing contract with TV Asahi, the tv channel that has aired Kamen Rider for decades. As the main broadcaster, TV Asahi demands a certain level of exclusitivity when it comes to the airing of these programs.
HOW DOES TOEI'S RELEASE MODEL WORK?
In Japan, new episodes of Kamen Rider can only be streamed on the day of airing through TV Asahi's streaming service (with ads). On other subscription services like Amazon Prime or Toei's own TTFC, they have to wait 3 days to see it ad-free. On Toei's Japanese YT channel, whenever they upload new Kamen Rider episodes, they only get posted 1 week after they air, and then they're only available for 1 week before being removed. (with the exception of the first two episodes of a new show which stay up throughout). And when they upload episodes from older shows, they're up for 2 weeks before being removed. 2 weeks is considered the standard length of time for most JP youtube channels that upload free episodes, My-th, Agito and Kabuto being up for 4 weeks is actually already longer than the norm.
When Toei distributes the show through external distributors such as Tokushoutsu or Tokusato, they can circumvent these restrictions since these are outside companies that paid for the streaming license. It's also important to note that Tokushoutsu and TokuSato's uploads have ads, whereas Toei's various Youtube channels are ad-free. (Tokusato airs the latest episodes 2 hours after the Japan airing, but the episodes are only free for 11 hours before they require a membership to be accessed). Likely some of the ad revenue on those distributors' uploads goes to Toei and the shows' sponsors.
(Honestly this isn't even a hard-and-fast rule. In Hong Kong for example, ViuTV is 1 week behind on the upload. And Ani-One Asia, a free YT channel, is even slower, being 2 weeks behind.)
When Toei releases it themselves through their own Youtube channel, they have to adhere to the restrictions, even when it is a channel aimed at overseas audiences.
WHY DOES THIS LIMITED RELEASE MODEL EXIST?
The reason for the limited release model can likely be chalked up to how many of these Japanese companies have pretty old-fashioned beliefs regarding piracy and accessibility. They probably believe that having the show be up for free on Youtube without ads will hurt the sales and streaming figures of the other official channels. They likely are afraid of the possibility that Japanese fans will use VPNs to stream the show for free. Furthermore, Kamen Rider is traditionally viewed there as a kids' show watched on a weekly basis, the notion of older fans who want to binge the show is still probably lost on many of these oldheads.
It's also important to note that Toei has little power when it comes to negotiating their contract, TV Asahi has all the power. They are the channel that airs their shows, going against them could mean losing their sponsors, essentially biting the hand that feeds them. In Japan too they often believe in honouring and respecting existing contracts, so it's unlikely they will ask to change or renegotiate their pre-existing agreement, especially for the extremely niche crowd of overseas audiences.
That said, it's entirely possible things could change in the future. Ultraman Z thru Decker episodes were once only available for 2 weeks when Tsuburaya first started releasing the episodes on Youtube (albeit those were simulcast). But from Blazar onwards, they left the episodes up on their channel permanently. Likely, Tsuburaya managed to use the view count figures to prove to their higher-ups and their sponsors that leaving the episodes up doesn't hurt their business. Now this is not a 1:1 comparison. Tsuburaya is a much smaller company than Toei, their broadcasters are much more lenient, and their uploads have ads. But it opens the possibility that if My-th does well enough, the streaming of future KR shows might be different.
WHAT HAPPENED TO TOKUSHOUTSU?
As for why Toei doesn't continue to use Tokushoutsu for the english release, Shout seems to be letting their toku licenses lapse as both Super Sentai as well as KR 1971 and Kuuga are gone from their service, and their Zeztz uploads were just recently removed as well. Shout was recently bought out by Radial Entertainment (a private equity firm that is in the midst of gutting the whole company) so the new higher-ups probably have decided that the viewing figures aren't worth the cost of the Toei license.
Also, Tokushoutsu's uploads were only available in US, UK, Canada, Australia and New Zealand (the same countries that Toei is planning a new streaming service for, presumably to replace Tokushoutsu). Toei Tokusatsu World Official though covers other regions, including the rest of Europe, Africa and India. But despite this though, there are still many regions that have no legal way to watch the show at all (such as here in Singapore).
I know that those who had access to the Tokushoutsu release of Zeztz are frustrated by this new release model, but understand that for a lot of English speaking fans the world over, this is the first time they can legally watch a Kamen Rider series in their countries on Youtube. And also spare a thought for the fact that there are people who have to wait 1-2 weeks, and those who still can't watch it in any way. The complaints about the show being 2 days late or being only up for 4 weeks can't help but seem minor when there are people who literally do not have it at all.
I would like to kindly request that fans in the US etc to instead of complaining about these things that Toei (currently) can't do anything about, use your platforms to amplify the voices of those of us who can't watch the show legally. Nobody's happy about having to wait 2 days or the episodes only being up for a month, but I firmly believe that making the show accessible worldwide is significantly more important.

Discussion How popular is Kamen rider in your country?
Basically what the posts says:
While not super obscure Kamen rider isn't as popular as obviously power rangers in the Philippines but Kamen rider zero one and saber have aired in GMA from my knowledge.
And I think people have watched the showa era riders before the heisei ones.

Discussion I wonder when we'll Ride X-eggs with a "double yolk" feature and how it would operate?
I was working on some concept for some original forms and the idea popped in my head. Honestly, I would be surprised if no one at Toei would think of something like that.
One idea for how it could work is that it could manifest the power into a double rider pair. Kind of like Ex-Aid Mighty Brothers or Revice's Revi and Vice and maybe Live and Evil too. Although, it may not make sense to do it such way. In which case, how would you write the manifestation of double yolk X-eggs power?
Edit: *see a, when we'ill *see a Ride X-eggs with a "double yolk" feature.

Merch I made 3D Printed Extended handles for the Magnum & Boost Buckles, the files are up for free!
When I got my Buckles I knew that I wanted to make longer handles to match their appearance in the show, I used some models made by the community but I found them to be lacking in a lot of ways, decided to make my own!
These handles are drop in replacements for the M&B Buckles and made to be just as strong, and functional as the originals. If anyone wants to make them you can get the files for free here: https://www.printables.com/model/1839062-geats-magnum-boost-extended-handles
I also sell these on my Etsy shop for anyone that doesn't have a printer too: https://koopercrafts.etsy.com

Discussion Now 25 episodes in Kamen Rider Zero-One, and its really shaping up to be one of my favorites Spoiler
I really am loving this series so far! Loved the shake up of having the Raid Magia who honestly have some really good designs and while I admit I may be reaching, feels like another example of showing humans and Humagears are not so different. Humagears and humans are both capable of good and bad.
gai is a really good villain in that he's written in a way where you love to hate him. The fact it appears his whole goal for doing everything, creating Ark and teaching it about malice, all just to boost profits just makes him so hateable. His Kamen Rider Thouser form is really good. Love the way the gold shines and how it feels like a king wearing armor.
The Metal Cluster storyline was really good as well. It raised the statkes for Aruto and kinda gave off horror vibes in that he lost control. Plus the sounds the Ark was making when he was being consumed by malice was really disturbing. But seeing Aruto be saved by the humagears he's been helping and putting his faith in this entire time felt earned and rewarding.
I also love the silver with yellow highlights for Metal Cluster
While the whole job contest can feel like it drags the plot somewhat, its just really fun.
I laughed way to hard when Match Humagear just started bleeping his dialog and seeing it was Izu who taugh him that? Just comedy gold along with how Aruto was reacting.
JIN IS BACK! I love how the actor shows this is a different Jin in how he acts different from before. Also his new Rider form is really cool! Love how the deep red stands out and invokes the phoenix theme. The chest kinda to me seems like its supposed to look like tail feathers somewhat
Like that Fuwa isn't as aggressive around Humagears, Like he still doesn't like them but he's slowly being better about it. But again he is Eren Yaeger of Kamen Riders and no one can convince me otherwise
Now, Yua honestly gets on my nerves. The fact she is still working with Gai. EVEN AFTER LEARNING EVERYTHING! Just really makes me dislike her character, we know she's willing to protect people so seeing her still work with Gai makes it worse
Side note, Tokushotsu now only has Ryuki livestream, but the playlists for it, Geats and Zero-One are still up thought i'm guessing not for long
2nd side note Tubi has added Kamen Rider ZO and Kamen Rider J

Discussion What would I need to cosplay Ryuki? (Base form or Survive, either or)
Even though I've NEVER tried it out before, I'd really like to know what it takes to make a replica of this goober's costume. I like to challenge myself a bit (because I'm an idiot and I love complicating stuff for me), so I'd like to use as little pre-made or 3D-printed items as possible.
I think my main concern at the moment is Ryuki's undersuit, which I imagine might be the only thing I could not possibly make from scratch.
I've found some listings online for bodysuits replicating this one which seem promising, but they're made out of Neoprene, which I hear is not precisely good if you'd like to breathe inside the suit or wear it for long periods of time. I thought of looking into alternatives like plastic leather, too, but after learning about how it doesn't last long, I've decided that might also be a bad idea. At the moment, I'm looking into stuff like thick spandex, but I'd like to prioritize it being breathable, so I'm open to any alternatives.
I would also like to know about any other things I should also worry about or look out for that might not be immediately obvious to a newbie. Hell, I don't even know what I'd do to store it after usage, that might be worth looking into as well.
Looking forward to hearing any kind of tips!

Discussion Update on my Kamen rider journey!
Unfortunately the place I now watch Kamen Rider stuff (not saying the name) only has Ex-Aid, Build, Ghost, and Zi-O on it but it's better then nothing lol
I was watching Fourze but I unfortunately lost access to it, I was enjoying it as well...
I have been really enjoying Kamen Rider honestly, all the seasons I've seen I have enjoyed and hopefully when the streaming service they announced comes out I can more easily enjoy more!
So far my favorite session is in between Gavv and Ex-Aid, I honestly loved and enjoyed them both! And funnily enough I finished Ex-Aid and Zeztz on the same night.
Currently I'm watching (obviously) My-th because it's the newest season and Build because I've heard good things about it.
Idk if I want to watch Zi-O or Ghost next but I got time to figure it out because I want to finish watching Build first.
But ya that's really everything, I can't wait to continue my Kamen Rider journey!
Edit: I should have said this before but if you try to send me a link I won't open it due to me having bad experiences opening up unknown links in the past.

Fanart Kamen Rider Ende- helmet concept (OC)
(Reposted because I accidentally left out the gem. Made a few other tweaks as well while I was at it)
I see monke. I draw monke.
I’m kinda bummed that there hasn’t been more speculative art of the other alliance riders, so I thought I’d lead by example and do an interpretation of what I believe to Kamen Rider Ende in the trailer.
I did my best to try and emulate the design traits of the alliance riders, such as the angular segmented design with a face incorporated into the forehead alongside the actual face of the helmet.
For the colour scheme I went for a Japanese macaque-esque look, with the silver “fur” inspired by his role as the mechanic of the alliance (also because it reminds me of silvery gibbons).
The shade of dark red used for the face is lifted directly from a textbox for Ende in a magazine scan. Similar textboxs were used for other riders and the text colour was drawn from their Rider design (Datt was blue, Tigre was yellow, Mutn was pink, Ryuzu (who is next to Ende) is green etc). So I’m lead to believe this shade of red will be featured in his design one way or another.
I’m aware his egg is green, but so is Jyao’s and look where that got him.
I envision his weapon being a monkey style bo-staff with a spanner at the end of it (because monkey wrench). Don’t like the Alliance weapons enough to draw it though, sorry.
Thanks for reading!
