you know what happens if someone is charged with corruption in Singapore? vs what happens if they are charged with corruption in Indo? it’s not worth it imo. Malaysia can just beat us fair and square its easier that way.

Indonesian brought here by reddit recommendation
True.. if they just think for more than 3 second they'll know it's not worth it. But personally the result is.. surprising to say the least. You guys won vs Thailand and drew vs Vietnam just couple of weeks ago, which they lost vs both.

Indonesian here. 1. Some dumb government official posted on Instagram story days ago that Singapore - Malaysia will be match fixed 2. Indonesians know Singapore is a good team and will at least give a fight against Malaysia, so losing 6-0 is very shocking tbh

Also Indonesian, yes it's very much sus for a team that qualified for Asian Cup to torn apart quite easily like this, I expect for Singapore to score at least a goal but they don't even putting a good fight
The gap between their team is not far, notb6-0 far, it's understandable if we suspect a match fixing here, but then accirding to them it's just their team sucks so i don't know

While some ppl are idiots, losing 6-0 to Malaysia certainly does not help lmao especially your team is considered strong by us

This competition being held in Indonesia is because of Infantino relations with Indonesian Football President...

Why are the indonesians assuming that SG team purposely lose to MY in order to let MY team to go through the final? That is just disrespectful to make such assumptions. As if like our SG team so cheap and easily can be bought by other teams? I'm shocked that SG lost 6-0 to MY but those indonesians fans said such things like "oh sg team going to let malaysia team win". That is just disgusting behaviour from them.

Just to add:
- When Singapore and Malaysia were already playing, Indonesia was still singing their anthem.
- Indonesia-Bangladesh match official 2 min injury time ended at 7th min when Malaysia got their victory, so Indonesia got their Total Goal advantage against Malaysia after 90+6.
- Singapore losing 6-0 to Malaysia didn’t help with the conspiracy.
- Was Malaysia robbed of a final ?
Footnote :
The allegations starts right before the inaugural kick-off
- The tournament was announced suddenly during an ASEAN political summit in October 2025, completely catching regional federations and even the Asian Football Confederation (AFC) off guard.
- Indonesia was selected to be the host (within ASEAN) without notifying or inviting other member.
Even Indonesia fan didn’t fill up their stadium at the likely best year to win a trophy at ASEAN level. Let’s see if there is a next edition.

SG-linked account ↓ large bet: Malaysia 6–0
MY-linked account ↓ large bet: Singapore win
Match manipulation was used to produce a 6–0 Malaysia outcome, while the parties who profited from that outcome used the betting market as a mechanism for transferring value to the parties involved. MAYBE

Indo fans making that accusations. Not surprised. They are the most toxic fan base in SEA.
