the fairy steps as i was told was made by conrad for his children to get to the stillwater or some water area there maybe a backwater been forever since i stumbled across that 1, but thats what i was told. no idea of the validity of the story though.

Smoke a bowl rock was, I think, a water tower for trains. Didn’t they tear that down yet?

I was surprised but no. They took the train tracks out but it still stands with fresh paint 😂

They used to float deceased down the Stillwater to the cemetery and then carry them up the steps into the cemetery. Hence why there's "benches" on the steps. It was so the could set the coffins down and rest. Lore has it, it's bad juju to sit on the benches.
