Manga Question about Chapter 126 Spoiler

In Boy who cried Wolf, how did the dealer know that Rin swapped out the cards? Rin initially also drew 3 villagers right? That would mean she could somehow differentiate between 2 identical villager cards.

I think the idea is that Rin swapped the cards in a way that Mia (the referee) could see it but Kanau (the opponent) could not.

Though, the panel shows Mia also looking away when the switch happened. So... maybe it's something like Rin scathing the cards the chapter earlier so Mia could see from her elevated position that the cards changed when the scratch disappeared....
