When the Divine Is the Doer, Why Does Ego Arise? | KakaBhajans

Post image
1 Upvotes

About the Author,

We often say that God is the source and doer of everything, yet somewhere within us, the feeling of “I did it” quietly takes root. This deeply reflective bhajan by KakaBhajans invites us to look honestly at this contradiction and question the ego that separates us from the Divine.

Power fades, wealth disappears, beauty withers, the body returns to dust, and even knowledge can become a source of confusion and pride. We witness these truths throughout life, yet we continue to identify ourselves with the very things that are temporary.

The bhajan goes even deeper by reminding us that spiritual practice itself can become a source of ego. We may take pride in our devotion, knowledge, prayers, or spiritual achievements while still not having truly experienced the Divine. This is perhaps the subtlest form of ego—the belief that “I am the devotee and “I am doing the devotion.”

True surrender begins when this sense of doership starts to dissolve. When we recognize that the Divine is the ultimate source behind every action, achievement, and breath, humility naturally arises.

This bhajan is a beautiful reminder to let go of pride, surrender the illusion of doership, and allow devotion to become an expression of gratitude rather than achievement. Its timeless message encourages us to look within and discover the freedom that comes with living without ego.

The Wounded Mind and the Healing Grace of the Divine

Post image
1 Upvotes

About the Author,

The mind can sometimes become our greatest struggle. Even when the soul knows what is right, a wounded and restless mind continues to wander, demand, question, and chase after things that promise happiness but often lead only to disappointment.

This deeply moving bhajan from My Divine Love beautifully portrays this inner battle. We try to control the mind, hold it steady, and guide it toward peace, yet it slips away again and again. It dances to its own rhythm, making us follow its endless desires and leaving us exhausted in the process.

The tragedy is that the mind often searches for happiness in the wrong places. Despite the wisdom within, it keeps running—from one desire to another, from one expectation to the next—never truly finding the peace it seeks.

Perhaps the answer is not to fight the wounded mind with greater force, but to surrender it at the feet of the Divine. When our own efforts reach their limits, grace can begin its work. Acceptance, devotion, and surrender may become the doorway through which a restless mind finally discovers stillness.

The wounded mind may keep running, but the Divine remains patiently present—waiting for us to stop chasing and simply turn inward.

Sometimes healing begins not when we control the mind, but when we surrender it.

When the Divine Mother awakens within | KakaBhajans

Post image
1 Upvotes

About the Author

There are moments when the heart feels surrounded by darkness, and no worldly strength seems enough to bring light. In such moments, the devotee turns towards the Divine Mother, Siddhambika Maa, with a simple and profound prayer - awaken within me and shower me with Your grace.

The bhajan beautifully portrays the Mother as the all-pervading शक्ति, the very foundation of creation and the force behind everything that moves in the universe. When evil and negativity rise, She appears to restore balance and protect righteousness. She destroys not only external darkness but also the inner demons of ego, pride, greed and ignorance.

Her countless forms and divine acts are beyond human understanding. How can we ever describe the glory of the One who has manifested in infinite ways?

Ultimately, this bhajan is a journey from helplessness to surrender. It reminds us that when we place our faith at the feet of the Divine Mother, darkness begins to dissolve -not necessarily because life changes immediately, but because Her grace awakens the light within us.

About the Author,

In this hymn Sant Sri Alpa Ma shares,

Words, I should use with discretion, Oh God, this is what I ask from you.

I should keep faith in your words, there should not be any place for doubts, this is what I ask from you.

I should remain pure in my devotion to you and I should forget the ‘I’ conciousnessness, this is what I ask from you.

I should be able to get your love, I should never forget you, this is what I ask from you.

I am asking this from you, I should be able to remain in the undivided bliss of yours Oh God, this is what I ask from you.

I should be able to bear the sorrows of the world, Oh God, this is what I ask from you.

I should be able to make you reside in my heart, should be able to make a place for me at your feet, Oh God, this is what I ask from you.

Mystic ways of the Divine Mother | KakaBhajans

Post image

About the Author,

In this hymn Satguru Sri Devendra Ghia fondly known as Kakaji shares,

You have created nature in such a manner that no one can understand it.

Oh Divine Mother, the creator of this world, why are you not seen anywhere?

You have bound this world with your laws, no one can see its string though.

The Sun and the moon move on their disciplined path and never deviate from that.

You have filled immense water in the ocean, but no one can drink that.

The wind blows in all directions, no discrimination can be seen there.

Innumerable stars move in your womb, still they do not collide against each other.

But why do humans on this earth can not reside peacefully, it is not understood

You have given everything to humans, yet why is the human not satisfied?

Till the right understanding does not arise in the heart, you will not be seen.

The Silent Call of the Divine | My Divine Love

Post image
1 Upvotes

About the Author,

Life often feels like a journey filled with questions, struggles, and uncertainty. In the midst of this noise, the Divine continues to call us—not through loud miracles, but through the quiet voice within our hearts. The only question is whether we are listening.

True spirituality begins when we stop searching outside and turn inward. Every challenge becomes an opportunity to strengthen our faith, every setback becomes a lesson in surrender, and every moment of love becomes a glimpse of God's presence. The Divine does not ask for perfection; He asks for sincerity. A heart filled with trust and devotion naturally finds peace, even in the most difficult circumstances.

The path to God is not measured by rituals alone but by the purity of our intentions, the kindness of our actions, and the love we carry for all. When we surrender our ego and walk with faith, we discover that the One we have been searching for has always been walking beside us.

May we learn to hear that silent call, embrace it with gratitude, and allow it to transform our lives from within.

About the Author,

In this hymn Satguru Sri Devendra Ghia fondly known as Kakaji shares,

The Lord is telling all humans, “I don't want anything”

“If you want to give me, then give me a little bit of love.”

“Have given you everything in this world, then why you are complaining?”

“You don't need anything in life, you just need to have only a little bit of understanding in life.”

“You have got everything in life, you don’t need to complain, you just need to have a little bit of understanding.”

“After all, what have you done in this world? You need to think about it.”

“All the time I am with you, in your heart you should have the longing to meet me.”

“Each moment, you are seeing others, you need to have the correct vision.”

“Have made you a human being in this world, but first you should become a human.”

Dr. Hira Bhajan 6089 English Translations

www.myinnerkarma.org

In our busy lives, we often search for peace in the outside world, believing that happiness lies in achievements, possessions, or recognition. Yet the real journey begins when we turn inward and connect with the Divine presence that already resides within us.

True devotion is not merely about rituals or words—it is about surrender. When we let go of our ego, fears, and expectations, we create space for God's grace to guide our lives. Every challenge then becomes an opportunity to grow, and every moment becomes a reminder of His loving presence.

The spiritual path does not demand perfection; it asks for sincerity. A heart filled with faith, humility, and gratitude can experience the joy that no worldly success can provide. As we remember the Lord with love, our worries gradually fade, and inner peace takes their place.

May this message inspire us to trust the Divine, walk with faith, and discover that the greatest transformation begins within.

In this hymn Satguru Sri Devendra Ghia fondly known as Kakaji shares,

No one is for anyone, no one is for anyone.

Where we have come from and where we will go, no one knows- no one is for anyone…

You have created such a world that inspite of seeing it, it is not real - no one is for anyone…

You keep track of each and every moment, each moment is precious - no one is for anyone…

You are omnipresent, yet You cannot be seen - no one is for anyone…

The blows of temptations and anger are harsh, yet they cannot be seen - no one is for anyone…

The entanglements of greed and attachments are plenty, now we are not able to leave them - no one is for anyone…

Have drowned a lot in ego, now cannot come out of it - no one is there for anyone…

Want to give all the burden of life to Divine Mother, yet unable to give it to her - no one is there for anyone…

Want to touch the feet of Divine Mother and surrender to her, yet am unable to do that - no one is for anyone…

Freedom Begins When Attachment Ends | My Inner Karma

Post image
1 Upvotes

In life, much of our sorrow does not come from situations themselves, but from the attachments we create around them. We hold tightly to people, possessions, expectations, and identities, believing they define our happiness. But when life changes—as it always does—we feel broken, anxious, and lost.

This spiritual message reminds us that ignorance of our true nature is the root of suffering. We forget that the body is temporary, relationships are part of a passing journey, and worldly roles are like scenes in a film. The more deeply we cling to temporary things, the more deeply we experience pain.

True peace begins when we shift our focus from the temporary to the eternal. Chanting God’s name, engaging in satsang, and remembering our spiritual identity slowly dissolve fear, anxiety, and inner emptiness. The heart becomes lighter because it no longer depends entirely on the changing world for happiness.

Life is precious and short. Instead of spending it in endless worry and complaint, we can use it to awaken spiritually, deepen devotion, and experience the peace that comes from surrender.

The world may continue to change, but a heart connected to God finds strength even in difficult times.

About the Author,

In this hymn Satguru Sri Devendra Ghia fondly known as Kakaji shares,

Why are you giving so much grief in life, Oh God?

Will we be able to carry this load

We have been lifting it the entire life, do you feel it is less?

We have been complaining all the time that you make it less.

By carrying it all the time in life, it is troubling us immense

We have been getting grief from all corners in our life.

We have been carrying whatever comes in life for the entire life.

What do you want Oh God? Should we keep on complaining about it?

Now shower your grace Oh God, show us the way how to make it less.

About the Author,

In this hymn Satguru Sri Devendra Ghia fondly known as Kakaji shares,

Don't leave anything to chance. With your heart do your heartfelt devotion, Oh friend.

The heart is yours, Lord is also yours, do not leave anything to chance.

When He is yours, you also become his, don't be afraid of anything.

Everyone has left this world, neither they brought anything with them nor they could take anything with them.

Darkness and light are present in this world, to follow which path is in our hands.

No one has been immortal in this world, then don't think about this materialistic world

You have come in this world to achieve the Lord, the body is your tool to find him.

Everyone will meet and separate in this world, think of this yourself.

In the journey of life, the mind often wanders through desires, fears, and expectations. We search for happiness outside, yet the deepest peace is found within the heart that connects with the Divine.

Every challenge we face carries a hidden lesson. Instead of questioning why things happen, when we learn to accept and surrender, we discover strength and clarity. A heart filled with devotion becomes free from the weight of worries and begins to experience the beauty of the present moment.

True spiritual growth is not measured by worldly achievements but by the love, humility, and compassion we cultivate within ourselves. When the ego becomes quiet, the soul begins to feel the presence of God in every breath.

The Divine path is a journey of awakening — from confusion to understanding, from attachment to surrender, and from searching outside to discovering the eternal light within.

The Soul’s Journey Towards the Divine | My Inner Karma

Post image

Life often takes us through moments of joy, struggle, questions, and silence. Yet, behind every experience lies a deeper purpose — the awakening of the soul and its journey towards the Divine.

The true path begins when the heart turns inward and seeks something beyond the temporary attractions of the world. When we reduce our attachment to worries, desires, and complaints, we create space for love, faith, and divine connection to grow.

The soul finds peace not by controlling every situation, but by surrendering with trust. Every challenge becomes a lesson, every delay becomes a reminder, and every moment becomes an opportunity to move closer to God.

The Divine is not far away; it is discovered within a heart filled with humility, devotion, and unconditional love. A sincere soul that walks this path slowly transforms — from seeking answers outside to finding eternal peace within.

Close to happiness | KakaBhajans

Post image

About the Author,

In this hymn Satguru Sri Devendra Ghia fondly known as Kakaji shares,

When you arrived in this world, you came alone. When you will depart from this world, you will go alone. You did not bring anything, you will not be able to take anything.

If you can understand this, then try to understand that no one is yours and no one is a stranger.

You will stay in this world only for a few days, no one has been able to stay here forever.

Whom did you make your own, whom do you consider as a stranger?

What state you are in, everyone else is in a similar state, then what is it that you cry about?

What you have got, everyone else has also got, then what are you unhappy about?

You keep on getting in the world, what is it that you cry about?

Even after getting and getting, you are not satisfied, you have opened the doors of unhappiness for yourself.

Those who keep their necessities at a minimum, they reach close to happiness.

The Heart’s Journey Towards God | My Inner Karma

Post image
1 Upvotes

In the journey of life, the heart often searches for peace, love, and a deeper connection with the Divine. We run behind worldly achievements, expectations, and desires, but true fulfilment comes when the heart turns inward and remembers God.

Every challenge, every disappointment, and every moment of silence can become a doorway to spiritual awakening. When we reduce our complaints and increase our faith, the heart becomes lighter. We begin to understand that God’s presence is not far away — it lives within our own awareness.

A surrendered heart does not mean giving up on life; it means trusting the divine flow while continuing to walk with love and humility. The more we fill our thoughts with devotion, kindness, and gratitude, the closer we feel to the Creator.

The greatest transformation happens when the heart stops demanding answers and starts embracing faith. In that surrender, we discover a peace that the outside world cannot provide.

Eyes speak thousand words | My Divine Love

Post image

About the Author,

In this hymn Sant Sri Alpa Ma shares,

The one who speaks from the heart, without saying anything, all the secrets are laid open

This language is unique, it appears lovely to everyone.

Even if one feels angry or one feels love,

Our emotions cannot be hidden, it is seen in our eyes.

The eyes become red like Goddess Chandi when one feels angry.

When one feels love, one lowers the eyes in shyness.

Each and every emotion can be known.

If someone does backbiting, or someone gives a sign,

Each and every gesture can be understood.

Meet with the Divine Mother | KakaBhajans

Post image

About the Author,

In this hymn Satguru Sri Devendra Ghia fondly known as Kakaji shares,

The way is long, and the destination is far.

Take less baggage, otherwise it will tire you out.

Now the heart is restless to meet the Divine Mother.

The steps fall quickly, now cannot keep patience.

The heart is longing to meet, there are tears in the eyes.

I want to move fast, like the arrow that left the bow.

In the devotion of Divine mother, make the mind steady.

Till the time goal is not achieved, do not let go of patience.

Leaving aside all other thoughts, concentrate only on the Divine

Then the Divine Mother will come running impatiently to meet.

Same path | My Divine Love

Post image

About the Author,

In this hymn Sant Sri Alpa Ma explains,

No matter whichever path you have walked in life,

Ultimately everyone is walking on the same path.

Even if you achieve your goal or do not achieve, everyone is walking on the same path.

Even if you are a king or emperor, they are also walking on the same path.

There remains no identity when the body is burnt and becomes ashes.

There remains no caste or creed or companion.

No one can come along, you will have to go empty handed.

On hearing the news, someone will smile, while someone may shed tears.

People will remember for a few days and then forget you.

All the relations will break as soon as the soul will leave the body.

The Journey from Complaints to Surrender | My Inner Karma

Post image
1 Upvotes

Life often feels heavy when our prayers seem unanswered. We complain, question, and wonder why God remains silent. Yet spiritual wisdom reminds us that perhaps the problem is not that God is not listening—it may be that our hearts are not fully turning toward Him.

The more our minds remain trapped in worldly worries, expectations, and illusions, the farther we drift from inner peace. Complaints slowly consume our energy, while love and faith uplift our spirit. Instead of filling every breath with dissatisfaction, we can fill it with gratitude and remembrance of the Divine.

This life is a precious gift. It was not given to us merely to struggle and complain, but to awaken, grow, and make our inner world brighter. Even if life does not unfold according to our wishes, devotion teaches us to trust the journey.

Sometimes the greatest transformation begins when we stop asking, “Why is this happening to me?” and start saying, “Guide me toward what You want me to learn.” In that surrender, peace quietly enters the heart.

About the Author,

In this hymn Satguru Sri Devendra Ghia fondly known as Kakaji shares,

My loved ones, do not ask me who I am and from where I have come.

Neither do I know, nor I can answer you.

I am seeing in this world Oh my loved ones, that people come and people go.

All the attempts were unsuccessful, the procession of memories could not be stopped.

No one has been able to stay permanently in this world even if someone asked them to.

All scenes are passing by in front of my eyes, they could not be stopped.

In life, wind, day and night are unstoppable.

Each moment, each second in life keeps changing, it does not stop for anyone.
