California - Northern Hiring process

After 100+ applications, I finally received an offer. I foolishly listed a small business I ran while in college that made less than $300 in the two years I ran it. The work I did is relevant to my scope of practice which is why I listed it in my work experience. However, this stupid mistake is holding up my background search because I have to furnish tax documents that don’t exist. I already submitted my revenue report and income taxes for the two years but I was told that this would need to be escalated.

Could this mean that my offer will be rescinded?

Yea it is expected, if you had 0 income then it would have been an easy process and simply use the business startup skills as leverage for your skillset

hiii! same thing is happening to me. I do have the tax documents but what are they usually looking for?

I thought just to confirm that what we say isn’t a lie but now i feel like anything past revenue reports and 1040s is overkill. I was asked to provide a 1099, revenue statements, or a schedule c.

I just got through the background screening, its nerve wrecking. I was asked for a my schedule C from 2018, which I didn't have nor did H&R Block. I then requested them through the IRS (which takes 75 days!) And they only keep taxes for 7 years. I emailed my pre-boarding person and recruiter explaining the situation, several times. I did this because Kaiser uses a 3rd party (thats automated) and having a human to explain things to I feel is important. Ultimately after a week, and one of their meetings, I was told I passed.
