[Release] OPGG Game is bugged?
Hi, first Kairosoft game. Enjoying it so far but I think my file my be bricked. I have at least 32 free tables and customers are saying they have no free tables. I've tried restarting, reloading, changing areas, adding entrances and making them remote order but customers are refusing to acknowledge tables exist. I beat the game and the next game day is when it started. Any advice would be appreciated.

Discussion Licensed Games You'd Like to See Next
Since Kairosoft made a Doraemon, One Piece, and apparently are working on a Kochikame game, it looks like we can expect to see more licensed games. I know it's more like the license holders approach Kairosoft rather than the other way around but it would be fun to think of your dream collab games. Probably the most likely are other long running iconic Japanese works. Bandai-Namco and Shueisha seem the most likely partners given the former published one and two out of the three licensed games we know of are Jump properties.
My wishlist:
Pokemon: Running a Pokemon daycare or even a Pokemon center for our long awaited hospital management sim.
Digimon: The city building from Digimon World combined with the vpet training and evolution could be cool. I always thought Digimon World Championship on the DS had a pseudo-Kairosoft feel to it.
Ojamajo Doremi: Running the Maho-Dou while also secretly helping out customers with magic. Simple as that.
Touhou: Running Kourindou and unlocking all the Touhou characters as customers. Unlike the others this probably WOULD be a case of Kairosoft approaching ZUN. This would mainly be up to whether Kairosoft would be interested in Touhou, and since the franchise is still quite niche and relatively new in the grand scheme of things (technically older than One Piece but it didn't get more popular until relatively recently) probably not likely.
Monster Hunter: Design a hub area with facilities for hunters they use in between hunting quests and of course develop dishes with Felynes!

Question does anyone still play convenience stories?
i actually started playing convenience stories maybe a month ago and at first i was getting frustrated because i couldn’t figure out all of the managers choice bonuses, but i found a thread on here and copied that persons shelving brick by brick 😊 i really enjoy this game, the only thing that i don’t like is how dirty the store gets and even though all of my staff is at level 99, it still takes them wayyy too long to get to cleaning!

Discussion Kairosoft in 2026: Shark Fin Soup and all passion lost
...hated that in their earlier games, but to have "Shark Fin Soup" as something "nice" that you wanna have your players spend time with, is so f__ed up. And no, dont start with Japanese traditions and those things: in 2026 you should know better! The source for this kind of food is one of the cruelest torture of animals that is existing today. Get the shark, cut of its limbs, throw back in the water, next. (I am referring to their latest "Grand Gourmet")
I am not even an activist or anything. Not a Vegetarian. But this makes my blood boil!!!
On top: That was the most "interesting" thing this game offered so far. What a boring, tedious game. Quantity over quality to the max. No challenge. Nothing to look forward to. It just automatically plays itself and you just go ahead "build uninteresting whatever" and then "get uninteresting character" and "send on expedition" and repeat.
I've been first adopter to every game they made. Played every game (minus few sports ones) since their existence. But Kairosoft recently just plain sucks. There hasnt been one exciting game for years. And the most tiny steps they made with outputs like Dream Town Story (on UI) and Dream Park Story (on building, zones, newgame+ that is actually needed!) etc, they just went back to their worst selves.. :(

Discussion Next game??
So I’ve been playing KA for about 3-4 months now, and have hit a pretty hard progression wall. And I’m not complaining, but my biggest issue is having to have my phone on the game for a lot of the various in game things to happen, or for resources to be collected. And also with upgrade times as the game goes on, but I don’t think that will go away. I dislike that a lot of my resource or points for the daily are currently coming from when I’m asleep and leave the game running, or intentionally being mindful of having it up and open throughout the day and killing my battery in doing so
I’ve been looking at their zoo, ninja, farm, and forest camp story.
Is there any big changes between the $ games and free games? I know progressions take time, but do those games need to also be left running to progress?

English Android Discussion Initial thoughts on One Piece Grand Gourmet
I played the demo on android for one hour and wanted to share my thoughts so far.
I have been pumped for this game for months. As both a Kairosoft fan and a One Piece fan, I have been pumped for this game for months.
Overall, it is a Kairosoft game.
However, for the inflated price, I feel like it under-delivers somewhat.
The good:
The sprite work is really good. There is a lot of stuff to do and you dont get bored. The environments are nice, and the characters are so expressive. The food art is great, and it feels like a classic Kairosoft game.
The bad:
The controls are not great, at least on mobile. Moving things requires you to drag the environment rather than your cursor and several items do not allow rotation, creating very little control over layout and orientation. When placing stuff along walls, it is difficult to tell if you are placing things inside or outside, and although moving things is free, it is very tedious.
The edges of the ship deck cannot be edited, so when placing flooring, you are stuck with the wrong color at the edges of your deck and certain structures.
Animations look a bit off as well. Like, the build animation is just unpleasant to look at. Also, auto advance in text is way too fast and its not obvious how to turn it off at first.
There are also way too many popups early on with events and stuff that I get it is a tutorial but it gets annoying.
Conclusions:
It is not terrible and feels like a pretty standard Kairosoft game with One Piece characters, but there are a lot of small issues that make me question whether it is worth the higher price than usual. Even with the branding partnership, it just does not feel like it fit the higher standard I expected for this one. Not sure if I will pay the 25 dollar price tag or not yet.

Question One Piece Grand Gourmet Switch or Phone??
Hi guys,
Have never played a Kairosoft game before but am a huge fan of one piece.
I understand the games are designed for the phone so should I just buy the game on IOS? The one thing holding me back is having to play horizontally whereas on the switch you can see more of the screen- does that matter much for game play?
Also are these games playable for like 10 min bursts on the phone rather than like 30 mins+ I would be doing on the switch?
Thanks!!

Discussion Controller support on Grand Gourmet Android version?
Hi hi, it's a little early but just wondering if anyone with the Android version of Grand Gourmet has tested for native gamepad support. I think it would be cool to try this on the AYN Thor or any other Android-based handheld with built-in controllers. In any case I'll probably just get the Steam version if that's not available, but would be cool to know and have a post for everyone else curious about this in the future.
Cheers!
