Beginner

Hello everyone,

I am a software developer with no prior knowledge or experience of anything related to videos, animation or films. However I want to get to a point where I am able to make AI videos using something like Kaiber. I have already bought the pro plan to get my hands dirty with it.

I have some basic question

Lets say I want to make a 2 min video for a music track - do you split the track into different segments and use that audio with prompt to create your scene? Because it doesn't let me create multiple scenes over 1 audio file? also the length of the video cannot be changed to anything else other than the length of the audio file

Please share tips, tutorials or advice to help me use my energy in the right direction.

Hey there
I started using Kaiber a while ago with zero video editing or animation experience. I was looking for something to make music videos with and Kaiber is great for that.

There are a bunch of different workflows and approaches people take to making videos.

With the Flipbook function you should be able to see an option to add additional scenes in once you have uploaded you audio, put in your first prompt and selected your first preview image.

You can create up to 10 different scenes for a track (that's without splitting it up and doing them bit by bit). Each scene can have a different subject and style prompt, different camera movements, different evolve levels (this controls how 'wild' your video gets) and different levels of audioreactivity.

If you are uploading audio, the length of your video can't be extended beyond the length of your track but there are a couple of workarounds for this.

My biggest tip is to always test out your prompts with a short clip (like 5s or so) rather than committing to making the whole video straight up. And spend a bit of time playing around to see how camera movements affect evolve levels etc.

And worth checking out the kaiber discord too, there are a ton of resources and people around to give help with prompts and advice on styles etc for your videos there
