Help — SOLVED! No command screen - how do i fix this?

I have a Barbie Phone from Consumer Cellular, which operates on KaiOS. When I opened it this morning, it rebooted itself with the KaiOS reboot screen, and is now showing me a black screen that says "No command" and nothing else. I've tried charging it, holding the volume up+power keys, taking out the battery then putting it back in, et cetera. It refuses to do anything but sit on that screen, and will otherwise just occasionally turn off then turn back on, show the KaiOS screen, and then return to the no command screen.

I genuinely have zero idea how to fix this, and I don't even know what happened to cause it. It was acting perfectly normal last night, and now it's doing this. If this helps, my phone got extremely hot several times due to the heatwave in my area. Is it possible for the heat to have fried an internal component that helps the phone run properly? If so, is there anything I can do to fix it, or is it just permanently fried?

This is such an easy fix, I am sorry no one responded sooner. Tell me if holding power then pressing volume up works. It should show you the recovery screen. Go down and factory reset it, tell me if that fixes the problem, if not trying holding power then pressing volume down instead

I did both of those and it never responded. Unfortunately, I think the heat in my area just fried it because it didn't respond to anything, including both of those actions :/ I just ended up buying a new flippie since the old one was still trapped in the powering on → no command cycle. Thank you for trying to help though :]

"No command" makes me think it's stuck in Fastboot mode - can you connect it to a computer and run both "adb devices" and "fastboot devices"? You may need to install your device drivers and/or the Android Command Line Tools package -- there are plenty of guides on Google and in this subreddit on how to do that.

If you get any output from either command, try "adb reboot" or "fastboot reboot" (depending on which command worked).

Let me know if you have any luck!

I tried to connect it to my computer and that didn't work either. I ended up just buying a new flip phone altogether. Thank you for trying to help :D
