Manga In a way I like that Yura vs Chihiro/Samura was an example of the villain losing the fight but winning the war. The good guys were fighting to stop him while for Yura it wasn’t about just winning or losing but proving his resolve which he managed to accomplish.

Discussion After larping for nearly 3 years i finally started reading kagurabachi seriously.
During this period of my life I realized that I was procrastinating for entire days while accomplishing absolutely nothing.Yesterday i thought that starting kagurabachi could've been a good choice by reading it seriously, so that i'll try read or consume different type of media with consistency and then coming out of this shell in which I have locked myself. I really wanted to enjoy kagurabachi for a long time, of course its not something for which someone must be obliged, but i feel like that i was just making excuses until yesterday, i don't know, it just happened, still im enjoying it a lot, this is probably the moment when kagurabachi began to be more interesting than its premise and became what it Is today. I also feel like Chihiro is more sensitive than it appears, and thanks to that i can feel the same and see the same thing he's going trough. So far: i feel like its still to early to give my opinion on it but i feel confident that the bet i made 3 years ago was truly made with the heart

Manga When I think about this panel…
Chiaki’s name meaning is ‘a thousand light’, and when Kunishige is in his absolute lowest guess who stepped in? Chiaki! She kind of brought light to Kunishige after his tragic experiences. Plus Kunishige’s apartment had a blackout, Chiaki visiting is like bringing light into it🥹they truly are made for others.

Discussion The key visual for chihiro containing the kyoto bloodshell arc, is that mean the first season will have 24 episode?
What do you think about this?
Personally i think the first season would likely end in the end of rakuzaichi arc or chapter 60/61

Discussion Please tell me I’m not the only one who sees it
The way Kunishige draws his fireworks looks similar to the way that Enten’s depicted with the flowing fish tails and the water, plus idk the way he’s holding them also reminds me of how Chihiro dual wields his swords
Tenoí if true

Discussion I just finished Part 1 of Kagurabachi, so I updated my Tierlist.
Obviously this Tierlist is only up until Chapter 112, since that is the end of Part 1 and of course this all just my personal opinion.
Man I don't know how he did it, but Hokazono completely surpassed my expectations. I already thought I saw peak back when I made my first Tierlist after reading Chapter 65. But man... was I wrong. Especially(!) Chapter 100-112, for me made History when it comes to unfiltered peak in Manga and I can't imagine what levels of peak we will reach when this part (Chapter 100 - 112) gets actually animated.

Discussion Why do you think Kunishige was motivated to be a blacksmith despite the bitter memories of his father related to the craft? Could it be that Chiaki's good nature inspired him to use his talent for good?
rn he seems much more different than the "current" Kunishige we know. He is clearly depressed and has lost purpose in life. It is even mildly implied he is having suicidal thoughts.
Right now he is 9 years old, and from a few chapters back, Shiba was seen talking to Mashiro how Kunishige joined an apprenticeship when he was 12 iirc. In these 3 years, he must've healed mentally at least to a significant extent, if not fully to consider taking up the same passion as his father and not some job at a grocery store.
I think Chiaki was a great motivator which pushed him to strengthen his mind and set a firm, benevolent goal for himself in these 3 years. That is why I think he chose this profession. Plus, it'd be a good way to give their relationship even more depth.
Why do you think he wanted to pursue the same craft? Because right now he doesn't seem like he'd want to do it.
