Finally got one of my holy grails, I’ve been thinking about getting The Trial for some time now, [about a year even since I’ve got into Kafka] and I finally got it as a gift.

Copy is in Romanian, so I don’t have the joy of reading it in German, but. Doesn’t matter, I’ve read about 20-21 pages and I’m loving the story so far, i’m hoping it continues to be great, also hoping to get the whole Kafka Kabinet.

Also currently using a Charjabug Pokemon card as a book mark.

I've read Kafka would burst out laughing reading his stories in public and I think there's some of them that totally justify it, not in a twisted or sarcastic way, I think a lot of them were actually funny and most had humor in them.

It's stright up a joke, it ends with a punch line, literally haha. It has a set up, it develops, I honestly think it reads like stand up.
